  1. Just my earlier comments... I would watch your altitude and position, keep high if you can and drop your JDAM first if you have one left. If you have to get low and use guns then try to maximize your distance by putting the building with the MANPAD off your nose and firing at max range. Use your wingman as well if needed. If you fail this task the mission will still complete so don't get too hung up on it either. Are you in burner when trying to evade?
  2. Lol! Gotta to keep changing it up or I'll get bored. Hope to be back in the Hornet one day, but will be a while. I can wholeheartedly recommend the harrier and Viper though, I love them both. It's worth a go, some of it may work, a lot of the zones at the start will detect you ok as long as the unit name stays the same. BUT the landing ATC requires a trigger to fire at the RTB point of the mission before it activates, so you have to be quite a way into the mission to unlock this. So some of the ATC may be ok...but as I'm sure you'd expect, a lot of the missions will break for sure as there's a lot of Hornet specific cockpit triggers that won't transfer across.
  3. Thanks fort the feedback, really appreciate it and great to hear you had a good time with Cerberus North. Next up is my Harrier Campaign which is almost, almost finished. Then we're onto the F-16 Wild Weasel campaign which I'm tentatively aiming at the last part of next year.
  4. The moving clouds that are incoming should hopefully change this up a little, hopefully for the better but we'll have to wait and see.
  5. I'll definitely include this in all campaigns going forward. Already written the Harrier's one, just not had chance to do Persian Freedom's yet. We're still a long way from the Viper campaign though I'm afraid, but for Harrier pilots the Kerman Campaign is almost complete.
  6. No problem, glad all working ok .
  7. Should be there, this function wasadded after the campaign was completed so I've never used it, but the bulls was set in the editor so wp59 should work.
  8. Thanks very much, hope you enjoy!
  9. No it will be probably be because you broke over the base housing, which is one of the noise restriction areas. If doing an overhead break make sure you extend a little past the runway to avoid the housing.
  10. Hi, it was a minor error on my part, I just never included it, I have a feeling there was a reason for it at the time, but that was nearly 2 years ago now when I began the campaign and I honestly can't remember what that reason was .
  11. I think it was the helicopter itself, there's 5 points for shooting it down before it lands so that the Forge Special Forces team isn't threatened. In hindsight the scoring here is maybe a little too tough...think I underestimated the desire of you all to get 100 . For clarity full score breakdown in the spoiler:
  12. Hi, apologies looks like there was a small error in the scoring trigger that slipped through the net, the trigger for arriving early was firing regardless of what time you arrived. Fixed for a future update, thanks for reporting!
  13. If that function isn't working then unfortunately you can't unless you open the campaign mission in the editor and change the option yourself, but this will force you to play each mission as a single mission and not as a campaign.
  14. Ah ok no problem, glad it's sorted!
  15. I'm assuming you must be missing a step as far as I know its an isolated problem and there hasn't been any updates to the campaign recently so I won't have accidentally broken a trigger. The frequency used is a custom one so it won't appear on the briefing screens in game so only go by the kneeboard/briefing pdf. Just to check are you using any mods that might interfere with the radio or something like Vaicom that can mess with the F10 menu? I can't check myself at the moment as I'm decorating and my pc is packed away buy I'll ask my testers to double check if it still works for them.
  16. Yeah I took it down after the WP switch bug broke everyone's campaigns for a week or so. @Steel Jaw my pc is packed away for the next week as I'm redecorating but soon as its back out I'll get you a test version sorted out.
  17. Nothing I'm aware of that's causing an issue and not seen any other reports if problems since the last update. Have you tried both preset and manual settings, there has been issues with presets not working in the past.
  18. Yes we do set those options in the editor, but I was under the impression they could be over ridden by the player settings these days...unless it's bugged slightly.
  19. You might be able to force the settings on in your settings menu under the gameplay tab using the 'FORCE GAMEPLAY AND MISC OPTIONS' check box.
  20. Scoring is: 50 for starting the mission. 15 for landing back at Khasab. There are then 7 separate scoring zones (5 point per zone for a total of 35), which IIRC you need to enter then report back to Overlord with the F10 menu. You will need to report all 7 to score 100. There is no requirement to destroy any of the targets in any of the zones.
  21. No probs, glad you got through it. This one can be tricky, I think I was feeling pretty devious when I made it.
  22. Hey, just checked the mission to remind myself. The kill condition requires the outpost structure itself to be destroyed, this is actually made up of two buildings, so make sure both are destroyed and all should be good. You will also still need to be tuned to 37.6 FM for the trigger to fire.
  23. Is there a specific point it keeps happening at? If so I can take a look at how many Manpads are active at that time. There has been anecdotal feedback that manpads have got harder to avoid in recent times so missions built before this update can be unbalanced a little. Now to be fair I've not flown the A-10 properly in ages as currently focused on Harrier and Viper, but despite any potential manpad difficulty increase I'm not having any major issues with flares decoying them provided I pump enough out. General advice is as always...stay high as often as you can, try to standoff with weapons as much as you can and I often find if you need to get low then get really low, hanging out a few thousand feet AGL is probably the worst place to be, the relative speed you move to the Manpad at lower attitudes can help spoof them easier.
  24. Harrier is nearly done, should be wrapped up in October at some point, just working on the last mission now. For the Viper rough ETA is second half of next year.
  25. Just tested, could not reproduce. There is nothing in the takeoff trigger that is influenced by the optional dialogue. I wonder if you forgot to request taxi in all the excitement? For the takeoff trigger to be added to the F10 menu you need: - To have requested taxi (so you are assigned a runway) - To be at the hold short for the instructed runway (05 in this case) - be on tower frequency
