  1. Jet Seat Control Panel 1.3.11 Firmware 02.57 DCS 2.8 Open Beta
  2. Loving my jetseat but tried an FC3 plan the other day and the software didnt recognise it. Anything speacial I need to do to get it to work with FC3? Thanks.
  3. Thanks - I have SRS installed and use it regularly in full fidelity modules. This was a question on its use in FC3. noted on the awacs - thanks.
  4. Hi - first flight in the SU27 last night. I was playing with the HUD modes and selected the back up static gun mode, however regardless of which alternative HUD mode I selected I couldn't get it to change. Is this a bug or something I did wrong? Thanks.
  5. Hi - new to FC3 having only flown full fidelity up to now. Quick question on radios. Does the flanker only have 1 radio? I'm guessing you need to use the SRS overlay to change freq's? Though I am sure I had communications from multiple frequencies at the same time. Any tips on radios for an FC3 noob? Thanks in advance.
  6. I'm still get the same issue. Have modified this correctly? Cheers
  7. Thanks - where do I find this?
  8. The mirrors works its just you cant see outside the jet - I have tried max adjustment in both directions and only get an interior view. (MT)
  9. There is always the NATOPS if you want to read how it all works in more detail.
  10. Weight drag and bingo charts.
  11. With a waypoint its a lot easier as you have DME information and could place the waypoint on the airfield. ADF is a little more difficult but I'm assuming you are in IFR so you should have a rough idea of location as you should be on a flight plan. Its an example which I hope helps.
  12. It still isnt calibrated for the tomcat and I'm convinced neither like DLC.
  13. I dont have Liberation but did some practice in the F14B and did obtain the ACLS lock on but the landing resulted in a bolter. Probably doesnt help your question but does yours relate to the lock on or the landing itself?
  14. I have just started to do the same. Looking at the NATOPS it suggests it should be a push button for both. It also suggests it only flashes in the respective cockpit if there is a warning on that positions advisory panel. null
  15. Can you visualise it "in your head"? If you know the bearing to the WP and you know the course you want to be flying when you get there (runway alignment I presume) then you can use point to point techniques to get you on course and the correct heading.
  16. Hi Mark - if you have time in the hornet then the pattern is the same, just need practice to master on speed.. By ATC do you mean the in game comms, then yes, though I dont think the LSO is properly calibrated for the tomcat as he calls fast/slow even when on speed. Also fly with human ATC as well.
  17. Hi Mark, First of all congrats on getting the best jet in DCS Takes a bit of practice but you will get there. Set your tacan course to the BRC - helps you get lined up on the downwind. Start off by getting your trim set for level flight with the wings back at 350knts. At the 1 mile point extend speed breaks, start your bank and keep the velocity vector on the horizon and select wings to auto. Keeping your VL on the horizon in the turn select gear at 280, flaps at 220 and when deployed select DLC (helps if all bound to a HOTAS). You should aim to do this during the 180' turn to bring you approx 1.1 - 1.2m from the boat (note you will be further than this when you first complete the 180 due to slant distance.) At this point you should still be at 800ft and you should aim to slowly descent to 600ft. use back trim and not stick, to get the correct AOA, which depending on weight can be between 130 and 150knts approx. Its then a juggle between throttle and trim to get you there. You can practice this separately from landing, just choose an altitude and practice level flight in the landing configuration. Attached is one of the sets we practice. Also the attached youtube video is quite useful and Mav has a sense of humour. Also Banklers recovery trainer is a great tool as it tells you where you were out of parameters. I'm UK based as well so if you fancy practicing drop me a message. Regards Simon
  18. I concur - the wheel chocks are still seen by a human rio even after removed and are still attached to the wheels even when retracted.
  19. There a quite a lot of youtube videos explaing everything from start up, taxi, take off, approach plates etc etc. They are pretty much all civil but military pretty much has to follow the same rules so still relevent.
  20. I mostly fly on human controlled atc airfields but I am pretty sure that the ATC AI comms gives the runway in use when you request taxi to runway.
  21. Hi Andre - thanks, I managed to fix by following the online trouble shooting. Regards
  22. I have had the same thing - can you also send me the details. Thanks

    ACLS

Mixed results - getting varying range for lock on and it mostly catches a wire but did have a bolter yesterday.
