Hehe, ain't that the truth. I remember when I first started flying in a real fixed-wing aircraft and thought it was pretty easy. Then I took helicopter lessons later...............OMG. THAT was difficult.

Just did a fresh install of Lock-On Gold, then Patch 1.12. However, in my vehicle encyclopedia I don't seem to have the Stryker model, the New AH-1W model, etc.. The patch installed fine but is there something missing here? Thx!

Makes me die a little. Don't kill me. Make the Cobra a flyable. Besides, who's gonna hang out with the Blackshark at bars and strip clubs? :D :)

From a technology standpoint, I suppose the TOW and Hellfire are not particularly "complex" (relatively speaking). The AH-1W can carry FFARS, Hellfires, TOW (which appears to have a new model according to the screenshots!..at least it looks like a TOW), etc.. Funny how there is a new AH-1W model AND a new TOW model (I think it's a TOW model, lol). It would be cool to one day have a flyable AH-1W. I bet Stormin would certainly be a happy camper. :)

If there was flyable Cobra in this game I'd buy it 10 times. Especially one of the AH-1W's in that screenshot. Marine AH-1W + CAS = SWEET!

Is that cool? I bought the DL of 1.1 when it was released but picked up LO Gold a few days ago as well (ED deserves ANY and ALL money they can get :) ). I dont' have any experience with LO Gold so I'm not sure how the patching process woks with it. Thx!

WOW! Now I want to fly a Cobra. I've always wanted a high-quality Cobra sim. I bet that helo would be VERY easy to get info on. ;)

You guys would rather wait for BS to be released, a month, maybe more, so you can have new trees and terrains? It's not like these "features" are fixing anything. They are just that, features, nothing more. I've already seen the trees in WWIIOL. lol Here is the truth: The longer you wait the better there is a chance people will lose interest. Remember, the thread is asking about "FEATURES", not bug fixes. People here will buy it whether it is released now, or 3 months from now. Besides, a release followed by additonal "Feature Patches" shows continued development support. Not to mention, a sooner release means more money coming in now for ED, rather then later. Last but not least, the longer ED waits, the more they will have to compete with other games for your money. A LOT of flightsimmers I know also play other games as well, whether they be on XBOX, PS2, XBOX 360, etc.. March, April, May are big release months for console games. If it comes down to BS or Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter....sorry, but I am going to have to go with GRAW. Heck, SW:EW comes out in a few weeks as well. I say release it as soon as the helo and it's features are complete. Patch the other stuff in later. Ultimately, I want what is best for ED. What is best for them is best for the game AND us. My. 02c
