GO CONFIG> VIEW>SERVER.LUA LOOK FOR THIS NEAR THE TOP function default_fighter_player(t) local res = { CameraViewAngleLimits = {20.000000,140.000000}, Change the 140 value to something less. I use 110 This will eliminate any fish eye wonky distortions when zoomed fully out, and will make the cockpit fit your virtual body. -
Yes that is good. It's only been 8 or nine months since it was first reported on the forums.:music_whistling:

I have been using a mod called Tiny SU25A RWR mod. I install it with JGSME and it brightens up the RWR quite a bit.

I would be for instantaneous operation. Request rearming, refueling, repair. Done. Start her up and go. This would keep the games flowing, get guys back up in the fight quicker, and keep the games moving at a faster pace. To me its a kind of buzzkill to sit there for ten doing nothing and wasting my gaming time. Seriously, three full services are going to take up about 30 minutes... That is a lot gaming time to be sitting in re-spawn :)

HI. Here is what I am trying to do. I have small town that is to be attacked. In the town I have blue forces defending from within the town, On the out skirts of town I have a like number of red forces. When the mission starts, these units start attacking each other. Looks great. Lots of tracers and explosions. However, by the time player AC reach the town, the battle is over. Is it possible to put a trigger zone around all the units so they do not engage until players AC are within 5 miles. Is this possible, or do I have to edit each unit for a ten minute delay start or something? This is my first mission and feeling pretty inept at this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I hosted a multiplayer mission last night and had all the boxes checked. In game though the kill/death/takeoffs etc are not being displayed in the side chat window. Anyone else? Thanks

Same here. I think this was reported after some patch broke it a while back. -

Try this: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\View Inside is a file called server.lua. open it up in Notepad++ and change this line: LINE 21 CameraViewAngleLimits = {20.000000,110.000000}, 110 is what I use. You can adjust to your liking..

Nope zoom out and in slow are the two commands this works with.. I am at a loss as to why it isn't working for you..

Fixed! Thank you ED. DCS 1.2.14.35605 Update 1 - Change Log Crash when tank kills Reaper after taxiing to hangar is fixed MiG-29S. Payload marks, T1 and T2 symbols will not move with the targets in TWS2 mode on the HUD Multiplayer. The expended weapon will not be visible on the client AC for other clients Su-25T. Restored missing waypoint numbers on the HUD Ground units. The issue with absent opportunity to assign the target point for some vehicles is fixed Bf 109 K-4. LODs are corrected Crash when damaged helicopter tries to land by waypoint action is fixed The issue with flickering of ground textures that is visible from AC cockpit is fixed Input settings. The incorrect name of input layer ($aircraft) is fixed Update will be available in open-beta today.

Hmm.. sorry it is not working for you. :( I just did the update and made those changes again: Here is the pathway I just used C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\View\server.lua I then made the change from 140 to 110 function default_fighter_player(t) local res = { Line 21: CameraViewAngleLimits = {20.000000,110.000000}, And it works fine.. Fisheye is gone and zoom out stops at I guess 110 degrees :) Maybe double check it, and try an instant action mission to test it.. edit: Check your saved games folder. If you have a copy of server lua in there, you can make the changes in there also..

I just tested and can confirm that this is not working like it used to. Once you ground stabilize, the cursor does not move correctly when slewed. Getting it on the target is nearly impossible.. :joystick::(
