How Do I? Change Camera Angles.
KuostA replied to Wolverine's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Yup! And since we're in a thread about camer angles, thought I might post my question here: What was the file I edited, and What DO I edit, to be able to move the camera all the way down to ground level when Im in F11 Free-cam view? The default doesnt allow you to move all the way down, So the maximum lowest is still Above the height of an Aircraft. There are many screenies depicting the view from the Ground looking UP at the nose and gear of an aicraft. Also, has this been automatically already done in 1.1? If not, is this edit compatible with it? -
These models look phenomenal. The detail even surpasses some of the default aircraft models. One thing though, these are simply Weapon models. Though it is a bit late to put it with 1.1, but Why cant you make it a simple free update that you could download and extract in seconds. (this all goes for if a dated version of this weapon model is already ingame)

Again, A bit late on my part, but that is AMAZING work! Just by a quick visual, your model looks basically done and read-to-go! The skin looks pretty realistic, but some more weathering would be a great addition to give it that good ol' Russian Iron look. You should ask Mig-mag or Mitch to skin for ya...Their work is phenomenal. So are you planning on actually making the cockpit from scratch, and working out All the cockpit functions and systems?? Is that even possible with your modeling tool? I mean you could model the exterior model and plane, But doesnt undertaking the systems, huds, and ect warrant extensive coding that only the Dev's can touch? Anyway, Glad to see the Bison on work...hope to see more updates soon!!

A bit late on my part, But I am so glad to hear someone planning on doing the Tu152. I had been dreaming of having LOMAC filled with civilian airliners flying their typical high density routes, packed with passengers. It really would add to the immersion, being able to fly through the crimean airspace and know you're sharing it with hundreds of civilian planes. It would make you think twice about what you lock and shoot at. The Tu-152 is the strong workhorse of the Russian airline inventory, And it sure is a good choice. Being an airliner, it also should be alot easier to model and undertake. If you need ANY detailed photos of it, just visit Airliners.net. For high quality sounds of the 152, or any other airliner, visit flightlevel350.com. I'll keep checking back, and I really hope to see some progress screenies soon!

How Do I? Change Camera Angles.
KuostA replied to Wolverine's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I know exactly what you mean. This feature has been around since the original. Go to F2 view, pan the camera to a location on the aircraft, and press Shift-Esc, And it will undock the piveting from the center of the aircraft, to a new position relative to your camera position. -
Flaming Cliffs released - am I missing something?
KuostA replied to Mimes's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Though the Release IS imanent, it has NOT been released in any country what so ever as of now. The threads you've been seeing regarding them playing with the su-33, Mig-29, F-15, ect in 1.1 is really just a niffty mod that we did. They copied over the files from v1.02 lomac into the 1.1 demo, and it provides a GREAT mod that is as similar as you can get to 1.1, with many of the new features activated in all the aircraft. -
MiG-29S skins : Update 15/04, on 2nd Page
KuostA replied to D-Scythe's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Hellz yea man! Your F-15 mod pack is one helluva package, and is one of the major factors as to why i even Bother flying the Eagle. Your weathering and quality is as good as its gunna get, and seeing more of your updated skins for any aircraft would be great. BTW, can you do a more realistic, dirty, weathered skin for heavy bombers/transport aircraft like the KC-10, B-1B, and B-52? The lomac ones are pretty low in detail, and really detract from the overall feel from those gargantuam beasts. -

naw, dont worry brit, The screenies seem to be going down every few minutes as of now in this small timeframe. I guess its gone over the bandwith or has had some sort of complication. Just keep checking back if you ever get the X again, and it should be back up. As of this instant..it is. :D -

Definitely the one on the left (1). Looks more realistic by FAR. The one on the right looks like the rubber just came off the rubber factory still fresh and hot a few seconds ago. Left one looks more worn, realistic, dull (for A tire thats great), and just overall more apealing as a tire. Love the detail your putting into everything..keep it up! -

Demo PATCH + Starforce unistall out!
KuostA replied to Aeroaero's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Sweet..good to see the DEV's really lookin to perfect it, goes to show they really do care and are working on it. Im very very very glad to hear the "sticky camera" bug has been fixed as that was my only major problem I encountered and basically prevented me from playing the demo as a whole. What else has it changed? BTW, will this 1.1 patch be able to correspond with our modded 1.1 versoins where we Enabled ALL aircraft, models, vehicles, ect? -

If it werent for the incomplete canopy and missing exhaust nozzle, I would not have been able to tell the above was StrikeMax's model. :o Amazing work! Btw, Im pleased to see that Strikemax got my Lighting request in, and Is incorporating more realistic, vibrant, crisp, smaller streaks of lighting on each respective PART relevant to the sun. Default Ingame lomac, the sun iluminates the entire aircraft body as a whole with a dull, white glare, and I wanted a little "extra" bang to strikemax's already awesome model. Keep it up! :D -

WOW, And I thought the model already looked great...but SKINNED, it looks Breathtaking! Using an AFSR skin was a good choice. Other than what Mitch is soon going to release, I have NEVER ever seen such Detail on a skin ever before. He is presumably the top skinner of all time, yet stays a bit quiet and is usually competely unheard of. I personally have exchanged amlmost every Lomac skin with his. ..Again, Great job Strikemax, keep it up! :D -
That honestly might take the cake for the BEST skin in all of LOMAC's history. Now if Mitch could only start skinning FLANKERS, well, now that would be a dream. :)

Sweet! Thought all was lost for a bit there.. Cant wait to see you release what will be presumably the greatest Lomac skin of all time. Keep us updated!
