  1. Another flat out amazing video. Full length program about the Strizhi (Swifts) flight demo team, flying MiG-29s out of Kubinka AFB. http://www.patricksaviation.com/videos.php?action=view&id=2 **Same terms as the above video!
  2. The Perfect video for any -29, in fact, ANY aviation fan: A full length episode of Display Aircraft Series: MiG-29. Early-mid 90s British TV program, featuring aerobatic displays, pilot interviews, carrier trials, in-cockpit footage. http://www.patricksaviation.com/videos.php?action=start&id=15 Very high quality, Very detailed, very rare, and a pretty quick download rate for its gargantuam size! *note, the daily bandwith may have been used up. If so, Wait till the next day for it to be renewed.
  3. hmm..never knew that! Detachable pylons sure are a first..never thought the Mig-29 had them incorporated!
  4. Ooh ShiEt! That looks GREAT! This matches and even surpasses Mitch's amazing skin. This has to be one of the most detailed as of now, love the weathering on this good ol' iron..Hope to get it soon! :D
  5. Fricken phenomenal...Love the detail, I would never settle for anything less then 2048x2048! Glad to see you back to work. I was worried a talented modder would suddenly dissapear into the shadows, never to resurface. Keep us informed about the site and skin.
  6. cool shot there, But this feature/effect definitely is NOT new. It always has been there in the original lomac. It was more of a scripted random effect with lomac's Pre-1.1 un-realistic damage dynamics.
  7. Course it isnt...thats where the "(course with some modify it, LOMAC ready it bla bla)" comes in. But the main point is that all the models ARE done and amazingly detailed + accurate. If they really wanted to replace or add new models, im sure it wouldnt be that big of a job to add in all other effects, animations, and such. I know I know, in reality, it IS a big thing to still have to impliment those things, but still, With those models the way they are, and if the Dev's really yearned to, it could/should be done easily. We're not talking about flyable models, Just these amazingly detailed models replacing the Default AI. Keep the flight dynamics already in game, I guess all they would need to do was create Animations and damage effects. BTW, looking at the site, it looks like some of the animations ARE already done.
  8. lol...there goes all the credibility of the article..
  9. WOW...those models are phenomenal!! Wait so how does this all work. I mean there are hundreds of already complete, full made aircraft models that people already enjoy making and have completed, are these compatible so that the Dev's can easily get the file and simply import it (course with some modify it, LOMAC ready it bla bla)? I mean these are some FINE models. 100 percent complete, and 100 times more detailed than the current lomac models for sure. If so, Why the heck not. :D
  10. BTW, Just to clear the air a bit, This is Strikemax's model in the works.
  11. Contrary to the obvious intentions, I must say; Once. LOMAC has been working like a dream for me, and I get even more satisfied every day i play it. Every major bug or problem I found that effected my gameplay and overall enjoyment has been easily fixed and rectified with a few posts and such.
  12. Near the bottom: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=400102&f=38610606&m=8311077382
  13. Fricken Amazing. "Looks like a Flanker?!"....Spot on!
  14. Nvm...question answered with this shot: I was just asking if the advanced/revised Damage model has been applied to ALL AI aircraft instead of just the A2A fighters. All the screenies so far only showed fighter jet aircraft and no Helicopters, transports, or bombers.
  15. good to hear it! :D Now howabout for all the other promising 3rd party mods out there? Any updates?
  16. uh..lomac 1.1 is NOT being reboxed and sold at stores. For any country out of russia, 1.1 will have to be payed for via a program like paypal and attained via internet download. I think them providing a demo is GREAT. First off, its just common sense that it provides a "demo" of the addon. having a demo for the addon is self explanatory. Also, this demo could take the place of the EXTREMELY outdated original lomac v1.0 demo. That one was a very low build number behind what we have now and was NOT a good representation of LOMAC at its fullest potential. This 1.1 demo will be a full stand alone exe. That means it will be perfect for people who have never played lomac before to download this one instead and see what lomac holds for them.
  17. lolol
  18. thanks for the update Joao. I must say, Wow wow wow. Great work there, keep it up, and keep US updated! :)
  19. oh my gawd. At first i didnt really think much about it, nonetheless even opened the pics to view them in detail to be honest lol. however, once actually analyzing them I am completely flabergasted! That new terrain is phenomenal! like aquarius mentioned, The clarity/sharpness of the terrain was so good that I really thought you must have edited it into the picture or something. It seems like you could see and feel each grass blade down there. Cant wait till you release this...this looks way better than the current terrain, and much better than the 1.1 summer terrain as well. :D BTW, I must add, all your mods have been really phenomenal and helpful to the lomac community as a whole. They are of amazing quality, work, and detail. Your skinning ability is amazing...I am loving your eagle package in addition to your AI skins. Dont let a few setbacks put you down...I really hope you'll contine to re-do the O+her AI skins. -Great job, hope to see more!
  20. I just watched this (http://www.checksix-fr.com/downloads/lockon/videos/HelloKill.wmv) video and That brings me to a question; It is already known the AI will have updated damage effects/models where respective peices will each catch fire, be hit, seperate, fall away and burn to the ground ect. However, the generall idea has always been towards Fighter AI and such. The damage models of the "other" AI such as Helos, heavy transport aircraft, and bombers has never really been talked about, with nonetheless, any videos or screenies showing them. So, Will the "other" AI planes incorporate such udpated effects? Based upon this video, it seems The damage effect for the helo is exactly the same. -Thanks in Advance
  21. Dang, I wasnt aware of this until I came upon this thread going back a bit, It really comes as a bit hit. Although I didnt know him as close as many of you guys have, he really has been one heckuva contributer to lomac as a whole. He's one dang good guy. RIP, and best wishes to his family and friends
  22. Friggen AMAZING! When implimented, this will be the aircraft with the most rounded nose EVER! :D ______ Soo, on the other hand, hows it going with the other models out there? Any new progress shots or such?
  23. wow, have never stumbled upon this myselff...i'll go hunt for this when i get the chance! Btw, that last shot with the mig is absolutely great...i really could have sworn the mig was 100X times its normal size
  24. I was wondering about this...thanks! So u must edit that line for both of those .lua files? And all this will effect is how low the camera can go right? I dont want any other problems, bugs, or conflits like the camera being able to go past and through underground for exmaple.
