  1. i don't know if i would try the 109D-9 right now, the engine has been bugged, it was my go to warbird. i would suggest looking thru the forums on each warbird to get an idea of the handling of each. the I-16 is the only one i don't have and thats because it doesn't really have historical counter part in game.
  2. what tells the pilot or shows that the cowling flaps are back in auto-matic. especially if external views are set to off.
  3. i've looked thru the forums and can't find any chain home radar locations on channel map, does anyone have them listed?
  4. i prefer the Dora mainly because there is a bigger chance to disengage and reset for an attack or return to base. the A8 i find myself in the fight even if i don't want too.
  5. they could at least explain what they "mean" by Added V1 Launch sites: Neuville, Wallon-Cappel, Maisoncelle, Siracourt, Vacqueriette, Ligescourt, Val Ygot, le Bouc, Wizernes, Lottinghen, Yvrenches.

  8. given up flying the D-9 in multi... its just too frustrating. fly for 15-30, see someone then have the engine go. used to be my favorite.

  10. yes its the "Life" of the unit. 100% being the most. the "Combat" is the mission type that unit will preform, and according to what you select it effects the choices in "ADVANCED (WAYPOINT ACTIONS) Documentation (digitalcombatsimulator.com)

  13. didn't the D9 have flares? i noticed the K4 is only German warbird with flares...
  14. well i'm thinking they also don't want to announce the very day of the release that it won't release... something ED should have been able to at least update them prior too. then again maybe ED did notify them...
  15. i'm running 2 missions on my server, now instead of starting next mission after the first has ended, the server switches to next mission then pauses.
  16. haven't noticed this till now, did some reading of the forum. maybe i missed it and its already been answered. i have my own dedicated server... as it works now with "mods" i have to install the module on server for those with the module and then those that don't have the module are excluded at least from the mission that includes the module on the server. i assume this works the same way. every dcs update would i have to re-install this module? if i were to put this on my server would i have to purchase a module just for the server? i imagine there would be additional add ons of new vehicles for additional price. how would this work if the server was updated but the users didn't purchase the additional vehicles, or the server wasn't updated and the user had purchased the additional vehicles?
  17. the suppressors that are mounted on each exhaust to be specific... do they actually suppress, or disperse the IR, or is it just eye candy? if they do work, do they restrict the performance of the Mi-8?
  18. what is the gun convergence set at for each of the fighters, in "DCS". i understand that the range can be set on K-14 to further than the gun convergence.
  19. check the date of mission and that the "clock" at bottom of screen is off.
  20. I've come across this time and time again and can't figure what it's for or what it could be used for. to the right there's an additional "Box" that i normally don't see with the trigger zone. Role...Value... Object ID... does anyone know how this is used. thanks
  21. i'm trying to create a base capture multi-player mission, using aircraft to capture the base. using triggers i've set a red and blue grd unit late activation at base. then set a trigger zone on base once a red/blue aircraft enter zone, unit speed less. unit agl less, unit speed less, unit alive then depending on if the unit is Red/Blue either the red/blue activate/deactivate the red/blue grd unit. problem i've come to realize i'd have to do this for each red/blue unit and then for each base. is there a script to do this? base capture.miz
