Just a thought? There were some pix of an AI b-17 floating around. Would make great target practice for the 109s

Awesome. A more detailed damage model and proper effect of guns and cannon is essential if the whole WW2 path being taken byED is to work.

I'm not sure how much of the Normandy map is done, or how much even was recovered from luthier. But can I humbly suggest the normandy map was wrong for the plane set we will have in the near future? Most of the aircraft we have are very late war FW-190d, P-51d etc. A much better map would be northern Europe, maybe even with part of a bombed-out Berlin. Imagine starting your D-9 in a camouflaged wood to take off on a piece of autobahn to take on B-17s, while keeping an eye out for strafing P-47s.

That's kind of the point of cannon. You are meant to be able to hit your target anywhere and blow bits off. It's not about having to hit the target in the right spot. That's why cannon was introduced! Cheers guys. I know its a beta and I'm sure these issues will be addressed.

Ha - yeah cannon! Terrible spelling on my part. But I'm still thinking the cannon is not working as cannon. It doesn't explode. You should need about four hits on a mustang with those 20mm shells to rip it apart.

I emptied all my canon shells into a mustang and it just kept flying. A bit of smoke and that was it. In real life three or so hits from a Dora's canons would have ripped a P-51 to shreds. I hope this is being worked on. Other than that - I love this bird!

I'm getting a massive pull to the left. I'm not sure if it's because my joystick is buggy or because there's meant to be natural torque to the left? I'm using a Logitech extreme 3d pro joystick too if that helps. I suspect my joystick axis is set up all wrong. Anyone help?

So I don't understand if ED has any of the work completed by luthier? Do the have what was done of the me-109k model? Is progress being made there?

I'm not looking to cause trouble, but I think you are opening yourself up for problems if you simply say issues around what happened to the kickstarter cash are not going to be discussed. If you can't address it because of legal issues, please say so and specify what legal issues. Or perhaps I could put it this way: Will DCS be funding this project out of its own pocket? Will any percentage of the kickstarter funds be used in development?

Can we ask what happened to the funds that were raised in the kickstarter campaign? Are those funds now transferred to DCS? How much money did luthier pay himself, etc?
