  1. Dear Aerges Can you please change whatever guns we have now - to DEFA 533 , 30mm revolver cannon? When I flew MiG-19 - his old NS-30 (also pair of them) were able to destroy a bridge. Targets like T-55, M113, BTR, BMP , Bradley - were easy job for them. Air targets ? 2-3 hits were able to kill A-10. F-5E, or Viggen were 1 shot targets. Compared to them, our BB gun is a joke. our 30mm isn't match for Mi-24 gun, or MiG-19, or AJS-37. Damn... it doesn't even work as well as 23mm GSzU of MiG-21. Can you please check firepower? Can you add some various ammo belts? My best regards Green Ugly Fellow
  2. I also like URP. Classic I've found nice video about Mi-2
  3. I can't describe how important these issue are for Cold War planes. It's the biggest turn off if you join the game and can't see a thing. It's ridiculous especially by work with GCI. GCI -"Contact 1 o'clock over horizon, 10nm" pilot -"No Joy" -"1 o'clock 6nm" -"No joy" -"1 o'clock 3 nm ... you're about to cross in 3...2...1" -"Tally!!!!" and they both can't see each other, and it's DCS everyday issue, on every bigger MP server. Sad. Please make it a top priority.
  4. I always admire French pilots! Salute. I remember "Patroulie the France" in Deblin in Poland. I was there. Biggest formation, great show. Beautiful Alpha Jets. As for Mirage F-1CE. During early preparations to fly module (first 2 months - various manuals reading, gathering informations, learning cockpit layout) I noticed, that drag chute deploy speed (210kt) is bigger than landing speed (~150-170kt), also there is some well made, double wheel main gear, soooo.... My first thought was how about trying to land it just as I did my MiG-21bis? It works and it's way easier to perform here, than on "21", where landing speed is 360kmh, td 330kmh, and chute deploy 320kmh. As for landing - it looks rough, but precisely performed is quite soft and provides some advantages by landing on unprepared RWY: -precise flare performed at bit higher speed (and on opened throttle) allows to go around even in very last moment. -provides bigger safety margin during DOL landings. (shorter decc., go around available until very last moment) -after td plane immediately "glues" to the ground, unlike during normal landing. -no risk of "baloon" or "bounce landing" ... looks cool, and cpt. Pit "Maverick" Mitchell can't do that disadvantages: -requires more practice, and experienced pilot -however gives bigger error margin, it also means, that error will be more destructive. -surely not for every pilot and not for every plane -not recommended by cross wind. Requires good weather conditions
  5. In RAF maybe. But Polish/Russian/Swedish/Hungarian/Czech Air forces fly a bit sharper. No offence. It's (DOL) standard operating procedure for short landings. DOL - Drogowy Odcinek Lotniskowy (Road Air Strip roughly speaking). Watch and learn: Varius Air Forces.
  6. Dear Sirs! Don't want to be rude or something but having All the helicopters without Mi-2 is a bit like eating Mustard without sausage. Some say, that module in DCS is a ultimate monument for a dying vanishing vessel. These small bird is worth immortalizing. Please support me guys in it.
  7. Thanks for awesome Work, thx for giving us the plane! We absolutely love Mirage F1. Can't wait for further updates
  8. I just made some movie enjoy
  9. thank you very much for reply
  10. Hallo Various sources tells about Mirage F-1C being able to carry AS-30L laser guided missiles, and Exocet anti ship missiles. Are we going to become them someday? My best regards!
  11. Thank you for meritoric response. I shall test better before I came here. Yesterday we tested it furthermore. And I can only agree and confirm. Plane feels different, but it's probably a result of different steering authority. In every way we (in squadron) agreed that we need to learn the planes new behaviour. It will be nice. In the end... we like to fly any reason is good About AUF-2 - Great news. Thank you! My best regards
  12. Hi. while accelerating above 1,4Ma roll becomes insanely sensitive. 30kft, 1,6-1,8Ma, Short roll impuls ends with 720° rotation (if not countersteered) if one turns roll damper off, roll becomes uncontrollable. At 1,6-1,8Ma Plane rotates uncontrollably, and it's impossible to recover, except of applying airbrakes and slowing down. Bug of feature? I find new flightmodel very demanding. Mirage turns into completely new plane - up to the point where old tricks aren't working anymore (like "180° 8G turn by 0,95Ma with high lift device off" - halfway speed bleeds out and "G " drops down to 3-4). Economic Engine is currently our only advantage. IMHO. If it's not a bug... wow. We have difficult case here. We were never very agile, but now keeping speed becomes also difficult. I miss old flight model. It's irrelevant I know, and these one is probably more realistic, but "only mother can love these creature" right now.
  13. OMG You guys did amazing job in these patch! New FM has so many faces! Plane behaves in unique way. Terrain following flights are now like a fitness . "Keep steady AoA, left pedal right pedal, left pedal right pedal. Move aileron only slightly" and all of it by sound of AoA warnings, vibrating wings, roaring engine and sound of high AoA airflow. The thing is alive.
Odwiedź nas na: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- https://discord.gg/DdumDJcng9 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fighter combat is a display of teamwork. "Two is one, one is none". Alone you're meaningles. To conduct air combat in the virtual skies, you need a team. For this purpose, we established a polish speaking =Crow=Squadron. The purpose and meaning of the squadron's existence is to conduct and improve ourself in the fighter combat over virtual sikes and to practice the noble art of flying. We fly planes from the Cold War. Due to the specificity of DCS and the fact that mastering each module is a long-term process, we devote 6 to 9 months to each module we decided to use. We regularly verify our skills by flying on PVP servers and taking part in events organized by friendly groups. We cordially invite anyone who would like to fly Cold War events. Are you looking for a squadron? Are you a cooperative person who doesn't get discouraged too quickly? As a recruit, you don't have to be a master pilot, you don't have to know much at all. Everything you need is to be able to speak passable polish, have DCS installed, together with control devices, a microphone and any head-tracking equipment (or VR). As we do not have any attendance requirements, the recruitment period lasts a minimum of 6 months. After this time, if you have demonstrtated commitment, we'll be glad to have you among us. We prefer people over 18 years old, although this rule might get overlooked in exceptional circumstances. Interested ? PM me. https://discord.gg/DdumDJcng9
  15. Agree. After F-104G and Mirage IIIEE (obviously must have). Jaguar will be a nice to have. I love my F1CE, and can't wait for Full fidelity radar for it! my best regards
  16. As Cold War planes lover ('50-'60-'70) I find myself a member of Enigma CW server community. As Arcade as it is, it's also only server for people like myself. I think the guy set the right question. It's not about "who's to blame?" but "what are immediate implications of current status quo?". DCS is best sim I ever played flew . I just don't want it to become another ... Abandonware. What about M2000. Is the bug solved already? My regards Green Ugly Fellow
  17. These one is in Polish language , but if somebody's interested, I'll make English version, enjoy:
  18. Thank you very much! I love the module. To be honest. It wasn't my first choice. Squadron decided to fly Mirage F1 - so I took it, and started to appreciate with every next flight. More and more, until I truly love it. I recognize a good module after a feeling in saturday early morning. I sit In cockpit and drink my coffee. If everything is ok with a module. I feel the "zing" It's totally different experience than MiG-21 where I got more and more annoyed with every month of flying it.
  19. It's very sad story. No doubt it's a step back in development of DCS. Razbam - was no doubt best 3'rd party dev. It's nice form ED that they're ready to refund razbam modules. If it's true - I will definitely use that opportunity. We lost MiG-23, MiG-19, M2000 - for me it's a tragedy... I would gladly trade F-16 and F-18 and Ka-50 for MiG-19 and hope for MiG-23. I love Cold war planes of '60 and '70. I am old, and can't help to see how it eventually ends...

I see my mistake - I thought about A-4E and wrote A-7E. That's obvious mistake of course, sorry Basically means the same - first flight '65, introducing into service, pilots training '67, enter service over North Vietnam '68 In reality it means that only CVW-21 on USS Hancock used A-4F in USN until september 1972. When last small deck with A-4F on board left the yankee station. By that time some pilots combat tour in VA-55 had to be extended, to compensate increased combat lost. In every way convincing someone that A-4E is a plane from Desert Storm era rather than Vietnam war, is a pure nonsense. Already in Vietnam some of A-4E suffered from malfunctions of catapult arrestors, and were considered ... tired. USMC deployments from carrier decks from Yankee station: VMA-121 (C,D) MAG-12 (SATS), ended in 1969 VMA-211 A-4E MAG-12 (SATS), up to 30 jan. 1973 VMA-214 MAG-12 ended in apr. 67 (A-4C) VMA-214 Det N A-4B, CVS-12 (USS Hornet) ended in 1964 [.... there are a lot of it....] VMA-311 MAG-12 (bien Hoa) (SATS) 30 Jan 1973 longest operating from Carrier decks USMC group was H&MS-15 Det N from CVS-12 (USS Hornet) and they ended up in Mar 66. Can you please name one USMC group that by the end of Vietnam war operated from carrier deck? I see none in my sources. I thought about A-4E and wrote A-7E. It was late, sorry
