  2. You can rest assured that a) I'm not one of your "smart people". Trust me. I'm the kind that needs a manual first. b) I would want such a capability portable in a mission file and it appears this is not the case.
  3. Likely a silly question but how do I get paratroopers to jump from the MC-145 Coyote? Thanks! As of right now, they're going to have to land to take a red airfield with troops. Considering how any idiot with an assault rifle or MANPADS can mess up that plan...
  4. If you don't have Flaming Cliffs 3/FC3 by now, you should. Trust me - many mods on here use the avionics from FC3 and FC3's a damn good deal considering.

  13. I added a unit of just RPGs, put them in a Russian SUV and all good.\ I suspect the problem is mixing RPGs w/ other units like infantry & MANPADs. Embarkation Test 02.miz

  17. I also just asked THE @Mooch on his Happy Hour and yes @IronMike Mooch gives the HeatBlur Phoenix his seal of approval as accurate! Wish I had time to try out the drill a few times today but busy on Simple Flying stuff.

  19. Here's a feature request please from a 12 hour, 43 minute pilot so you may discount if you feel you need to: Either have Jester read out the ranges of inbound targets every 5-10 miles or give a call, "Within Phoenix Range" when in Phoenix range please. Thanks!
  20. Well this helps explain my problem - the ranges are so damn much shorter than 100nm or even 50nm:
  21. Say I'm having this problem where I'm out at about 50-30 miles from Backfires and I can't get the damn Phoenix missiles to launch on a track. I press down on the trigger for 3 seconds and no joy. Is there some kind of in range cue? I have Master ARM On, HUD in air-to-air mode and the targets in the repeater. ACM mode doesn't seem to change a thing. Anything I'm missing besides a big, beautiful launch? Oh and when the missiles do launch they don't track the inbound Backfires or in other missions JF-15s? I've thrown together this simplistic "Phoenix Drill" mission and the only time the Phoenix missiles launch is when I'm in close (like less than 15 nm). Phoenix Drill.miz
  22. I got two major problems: 1) After playing a single mission once, I can't get my wingman to launch from the carrier when replaying the mission. Mission, track and debriefing attached. 2) When launching from the carrier - every flight is limited to four jets.
