Yup... that would be awesome... ...come on... even the frikkin Wings on Amiga like 20 years ago had bullet "cockpit" damage and wounded pilot which had vision fainting and going red and a little time to live and be able to control the plane...

Last night, on 104th server, I was hunting some Toadie... a bad, friendly armour devouring one... ...look on 2:34, did this "son of a glitch" just pull that trick on me... ...cause it was time for my Coup de Grâce after his Grach sustained two R60 hits and one R73... it was time for my last R73 or a 30mm headshot with my trusty ol' GSh-30-2... but nooo... this Marciano dude just zig-zag glitches it down under... :megalol: Man, the Taod sure can withstand a punch or two, or three... :music_whistling: Was that the Print Screen thing?

Just tried to engage an armor collumn of 5... The only way I could fire more Vikhrs is when launch override is on and salvo mode is on... ...but even then, the maximum missiles released are just two, and they are released so close apart that it is impossible to steer the second one to another target... The second way is to turn the laser ON/OFF... ...is that it? Can someone enlighten me?

Config file fix from this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1574003&postcount=11 Mustang's HDR file from this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1573391&postcount=7 Mustang's overcast fix from here (cause it didn't make it into 1.2.1): http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1530997&postcount=1 Diveplanes files from here (like the little "sun tears" in the corner): http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/202346/ And finally, from your archive: http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/214328/ ...I used only skyQuad.fx with the abovementioned change of HDR value in line #49 Out.cOut.xyz = tex2D(mySampler, tex0) + step(0.4, D) * [b]260.0[/b] * HDR; I didn't touch the 0.4 value, and the "eyes to sun glare" adaptation is working... There is this one problem, if I put the sky.fx file from your archive, it breaks my game giving this error in dcs.log: 0011.708 ERROR DXRENDERER: Can't create effect: sky/sky.fx. Reason: C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\shaders\sky\sky.fx(131,15): error X3004: undeclared identifier 'fogCalcMiaAttenuation' ...so I kept stuck to the original sky.fx. I didn't change the shaders for terrain and water neither, cause in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92125 it says z-fighting fix made it into 1.2.1 and it is practically the same files and I was affraid to change them... should I have? Is the z-fighting fixed in your archive files in the the same way it is fixed in 1.2.1? I hurt my head figuring and writing this out... hope it helps someone... :smartass:

We can't implement it... we should have the "A" model simulated, lacking all the "C" techie mumbo-jumbo to get into those pilots skin... And remeber, that was a "no ground troops" war... so no JTAC-s... only good ol' MK-I Eyeball AFACs... The missions should be like 8+ hours long with multiple refuellings, a simulated binocular and no TGP... and some sort of pop-up kneeboard maps... lots of 'em... And some definite skillz would be required to engage targets with the 10000ft deck with their usual payload of the day (2xAGM-65D, 4xMK82)... Love the story when they went for the Giraffe radar in Montenegro, flying NOE at night... all sorties like faking dumb, disregarding altitude limitation cause they interpreted the task ROEs in their own way... LOL... -
Ok... It works... Less glare and the HUD is visible most of the time... Changed the graphics.cfg, inserted Mustang's hdr.fx an I copy-pasted the diveplanes 3 "smaller sunmod" files which I used in 1.2.0 and which I like... PeterP can you explain the purpose of the other changed files from your Realistc Sun 1.2.4, the difference regarding diveplanes 3 sun files for HDR folder, and what would be the right thing to do/use for 1.2.1?

Yup, we were all shocked on Going Ugly server today... ...me sitting in my trusty CA Tunguska, evading some wild Hawgs with crazy driving skillz... ...and then, two launchers I moved to the woods from their original site, cause their SR was destroyed, just at one moment engaged and torn to pieces some Thunderbolts... ...peculiar and unpredictable is the spirit of the machine... :smilewink:

I can feel your pain mate... from your post... :megalol: T-80 were always a pain, high angle and concentrated burst and maybe you will still have to do it twice... Now that you make me think, haven't tried to pop the new T-90 can yet... Wait, cooooming throuuuugh... wah wah wah wuhuuuuu... :D

I tried before, when it was still Google Docs and it couldn't be done... ...think it's got something to do with https and the way google lets files be accessed...

I noticed just a little too much glare overall... all is somehow more whiteish... ...can it be fixed with any of that "smaller sunmod's"? :unsure:

Yup, seems like somehow it re-appears only if it passes over interactive cockpit areas (switches, buttons, rotaries)... if not - it stays invisible, until it does... :cry: C'mon ED, if you could make the OS arrow dissapear, do some more magic and make the in-cockpit cursor re-appear in time... :D But nevertheless - great framerates and MP stability... a dream come true... :thumbup:

Just re-installed 1.1.1.0 standalone DCS A-10C, and yes, you were right... ...mousewheel zoom could not be used when mouse is not in mouselook mode... ...but the mouse pointer does appear and disappear instantaneously on RAlt+C, as opposed to this 1.2.1 update... where it has this annoying delay...
