so, if what makes it laggy is the accumulated garbage on the map coupled to many debriefing pages , maybe there is way for ED to make the game erase previous events after a certain lenght of time , kinda like those bullet marks/bodys vanishing in shooter games . anything that would help keep the game fluid even many hours in , would be appreciated :)

Playing online I have noticed that when the debriefing gets around 30 pages long my game slows to a crawl and it's slide show city ... Any way to turn off debriefing alltogether on client side or limit the size of it ? if someone else experience this please confirm Thanks

Never mind what starcrap does or doesn't do I'm all for copyrights protection but let's stop allowing all software manufacturers to invade our computers... with all the starcrap and program updates that you can't turn off soon we will have to wait in line when we connect to the internet. and I always like having a clean machine for gaming , those hidden registry entries and processes kill a computer's performance and messes with internet connections especially on lower speed connections imagine if we allow all programs we own to do it's "own" thing in our computer , ===yes install this so you can learn what hardware I have ... you want me to bend over also ? We have to put the "personal" back into the personal computer . I will not sacrifice ALL my privacy so that "they" can protect SOME of their copyrights benefits. I admit there is no simple solution ... but let's not give up and say yes to corporate abuse on our personal lives...

you are missing out on a good time my friend, things like that happen very rarely and wether it happened deliberately or thru a bug is no big deal as those using modded load outs are identified and kicked (and ridiculed) pretty quickly my advice would be to not hit "fly" until you made sure of your load out . I found that 95% of flyers online act honorably , some team killing happen occasionnaly but most often a lack of knowledge about hud symbology or weapons modes (EOS for example)or HoJ IFF IDing is to blame for teamkills. Online is where lomac really comes alive . S!!

Hi bflagg , did you try both coalitions ? usually F-15s are on blue side we fly the Sus, Migs and 15s so we try to have all planes available C ya up there

The accumulation of briefing pages seems a big problem too... we need an app that would reset the darn thing to "0" every 30 minutes , is that possible ?

Russian bird pilots , please support the "EJECT now and save an F-15 today" movement . As some of you know the F-15 is an endangered species because of a very weak radar and weapons system , this poor bird can only cary 8 x 120s and can barely track and engage 8 targets at the same time making it #1 on the soon to be extinct bird species list . It is also evident that the community cares a lot about this feeble, cuddly bird as we see more and more flyiers online taking up F-15s in a futile attempt to save the species. thanks for understanding Wolf :) yeah , I am disapointed too that souless chose to leave , it came as a surprise here , he must have his reasons and I respect his decision, even though i don't agree with it. but hey , we are still flying and that's what counts :) if he ever chooses to come back you can be sure we will be the first to rub his nose in it , he's going to be stuck washing planes for a long long time .

hey Wolf ,read the post more carefully, you misunderstood, souless said that in lockon's beginning , the F-15 was a death trap. souless has left the building and chose to leave ED by expressing only his negative experience about this sim ...he must have loved it some cause he flew it from the start and with great regularity. Wolf , you saying that souless sounds like an unskilled bad loser is uncalled for and proves that you didn't know him at all , souless was a member of the S77th and served with honor and pride, his mastery of the planes in lomac and his achievments in combat are well proven . you can see his awards here http://s77th.com/modules.php?name=Roster I'm sure if souless haven't left the building he would thank you for your suggestion but he has and all I can say is that I hold the 44th and their knowledge of the sim in high regards and I'm sure they would say the same about the S77th having flown in the same skies on many occasions. I think both our squads have proven that they are proficient in any plane in lomac. I can see that some people are shocked by the way souless chose to leave this sim. Even though I too am a little pissed off at bugs sometimes, at having to reconnect to a server cause the debriefing pages are slowing me down to a crawl or pissed at being kicked out to debriefing , at sounds bugs or what not ... I still love this sim and fly it every day . souless has chosen to leave by speaking his mind and as a paying customer I think that is his right to do so . It is our right to disagree with him as well .

Way to go on providing a server Neodark !! yeah I understand how you feel , I said noobs shouldn't feel ashamed for lack of a better word... but it's true that the "not as noobs" should lighten up about mistakes .... like I said in my earlier post , most often those who go off and get all mad are noob themselves or are just in a bad mood :( , if they are disrespectfull , stay polite and warn an admin either in the particular server squad's forum or thru hyperlobby PM . there are instances of team killing that are more frustrating then others though, I remember once , I'm RTBing, jammers off , nose cold, and this friendly is locking me for 5 minutes from 60 km out to close range , I typed in the team chat "friendly mig RTB, quit buddy lock " guy keeps locking me and shoots me down . :( so yeah sometimes it is frustrating and that teamkiller shouldn't be flying online yet , he should go back to single player and the manual and learn to ID friend or foe . But you will find that most flyers will be polite even if they are mad , we are lucky to have such fine people flying online .

It's still evening here in Canada but thx lol just saying turning the labels off is essential for online playing at the moment , maybe a few server will have labels occasionaly and that would be cool but right now you want to play online you must turn labels off so better do it now :) so rip that bandaid off at once lol we want more people playing online

Remember that most often the person who yells in a server is not an admin, it's a client just like you so let him yell , admins will tell him to stop like i say in other posts, most important , learn to ID friend or foe and have fun If you kill a friendly apologise, if you do it again exit the server and read the manual or something , you are doing something wrong. those that answer a TK by a "what are you crazy you noob ??!! " are just making things worse and are warned by admins. don't be insulted if you ask a question and get no response , people are busy with 2 sticks (even 3 i 'm sure;) ) in their hands and take some time to answer ... so read the manual , do the training tracks

You misunderstand , I say I do remember that is why I encourage people to take the plunge besides planes are free , what if you lose some ? I lose some everyday :) and you did post here http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=112979#post112979 that you have never flown online , so why won't you just take our word for it instead of becoming one more forum belligerent for no reason cause you admit yourself you don't know , how could you ? you have never flown online . I did ... all who did came in with their experience and say how great it is ... try it or don't but please stop the arguing that 's what's killing the game the damn arguing lol and noobs should stop feeling ashamed they are noobs online , we all make stupid mistakes it s just a game :)
