  1. I'm sceptical about the numbers, but the Typhoon is getting some aerodynamic modifications to improve manoeuvrability. "When compared to a standard Eurofighter Typhoon lacking the AMK retrofit, the enhanced Typhoon’s angle of attack (AoA) was 45% greater, with faster roll rates around 100% higher." http://tacairnet.com/2015/07/15/improving-the-typhoons-aerodynamics/
  2. I think it looks good also, flows nicely. As mentioned, it just needs scaling down a bit if anything, given this is still in Alpha, that is to be expected. Over all I thought it was a really impressive video, and the write up that accompanied it on their website made me smile reading it. The author (a member here) was clearly very happy with DCS2 even at this stage.
  3. Looking forward to seeing how visible ground targets are within EDGE. Thanks again Matt. As for a little feedback. If there is a 1080p option, it would be appreciated. (I don't generally do twitch so have no idea, just noticed how blurred the writing and details are) The higher res would help show it off much better I'm sure.
  4. I'm sure it will be way down on the list of priorities for now. But in future, yeah I agree. I think all of the little effects like this will add a lot to the sim over all. The big one in this catagory for me would be rain drops on the canopy.
  5. Yeah, I was wondering if this will be an active airport within the sim, Hope so. Maybe someone can put it to Wags before the next stream.
  6. I always figured full DCS: F-15 was a given anyway, it would be nice to have. I really lie the FC3 version, but a clicky cockpit and full fidelity would certainly be welcomed.
  7. If the Viggen rumours are correct... We're all in for a treat I'm sure.
  8. Me too, what was horrible about it anyway Erdem? It didn't really say much other than to not jump to conclusions based on one questionable article, just common sense.
  9. FC3 is good for more than that. I love the full on modules, the attention to detail is what makes me love DCS. However, it is nice to just jump in the F-15c , or the Flankers and just have a bit of relatively simple fun every now and then. With the success of things like War thunder, there is clearly a market for this type of sim/game. Although of course I hope the full modules get the most attention in future as I'm sure they will.
  10. The stream is great, just looking for a little higher res to get rid of the blocky, hard to read text etc.. I appreciate these in any form, it is moire than we have been getting. I'm sure Matt will show you all lots of different stuff as they get going. Can't say I'm a fan of twitch, but it is worth the hassle for this content.
  11. No words needed. Quality is rubbish on this, but just listen at the 00:45 second mark...
  12. I have only just watched the stream, I noticed this also. Won't be reading too much into it as it could just be an AI route or something. But an F-117 would be a very cool module.
  13. I was expecting him to mention more about it, the cat is out the bag now :) I'm sure it is a way off yet, but it's exciting none the less. If it is a Belsimtek product, well that's fine too, everything thy have done for DCS so far has been to an impressive standard.
  14. Not much new as expected after the initial comment suggesting such, but another enjoyable stream. Really appreciate these! Hope they continue as planned, Sundays reputation for being boring is in danger if so. As for feedback. I don't do twitch usually, is there a higher res option? I'm not sure what these are broadcast in but they don't appear to be full 1080p.
  15. It's my Firefox for some reason, just tried in Chrome and it works.
  16. I missed the stream as I was out, Matts Twitch is not loading for me now, am I the only one having problems?
  17. Like it or not.. We're getting it lol. I think it seems a popular decision.
  18. Weekly? That's great news! Thanks Matt, it certainly got everybody excited and talking, I'd say it was a success. That would be a good time also.
  19. I agree of course, the potentially was added only as those aircraft aren't yet confirmed.
  20. The future is potentially very bright!
  21. You are correct, great news.. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=144487 The stream was really good, it became clear however why Matt didn't want it recording as it was buggy to begin with and kept crashing. This obviously wouldn't look great if it were shared all over the internet without proper explanation. Hopefully the test made it easier for future streams that will be recorded for every bodies viewing pleasure. Or even captured by ED themselves and edited after the fact and uploaded to You tube etc. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing more... Matt did mention he'll show the tree collisions next time around.
