Really enjoyed it, thank you for doing it for us Matt. Looking forward to DCS 2 even more now and I wasn't sure that was possible. Never mind the crashes at the beginning, it is pre Alpha and we all understand these things happen. Just give us as much of this stuff as you can to tie us over until we can do it ourselves please :)

What a great stream also! Nevada looked amazing and the new smoke effects were great. Really excited for DCS2 and the future of DCS in general, thank you Matt! Look forward to more of these whether they be live or pre recorded.

Nobody said it was confirmed, but the existence of such an icon on Wags DCS World is a pretty good indication it might happen. I'll certainly be very happy to see it confirmed that's for sure.

I've been saying for a while now that an F-5 would be a great candidate for DCS, seems we are getting one. Something else to look forward to. :thumbup:

Whether they can enforce it or not is irrelevant. They have requested it not to be recorded, the least we can do is grant that request given this is being done for our entertainment. It will suck for those who can't watch the live stream of course, hopefully ED will upload it for them at a later date.

Of course they have an incentive. DCS2 will not only future proof their product, but it will make it much better which will increase the sales ultimately. You're overthinking it. DCS2 is very much in development and I'm sure ED want it out as much as the rest of us. But it is a complex piece of software and bugs etc will inevitably arise, they just want to make sure it is up to standard when it releases and this takes time. It will be here soon enough.

So does anybody actually prefer a clipped wing version? Seems we'd all prefer the same thing for DCS... Full beautiful wing. Still, it's a spitfire so I'll still buy it I'm sure, one flew over about 2hrs ago and did a little display, wonderful as ever.

Is that really hard to believe? It is a much better aircraft than the media like to suggest. F-16 type performance with the added benefit of stealth is a good combination.

Me too, I've never been a fan of clipped wing Spitfires aesthetically. That said, we'll probably appreciate the extra performance when it is called for.

Yeah, can't wait to fly that beauty! And given it is the Vapor King, I was happy to see over wing vapor mentioned as a wip feature also. No mention of spotting in relation to EDGE yet though unless I missed it? Do we know if that is a priority or even affected by the new engine?

I'm still bummed about the striped down Battlefront, but at least the gameplay looks quite good. The best game I've played in the last few years is the Stick of truth, it is brilliant! So I was very happy to see this...

So the new map will be $39.99, seems fair. The L-39 is shaping up nicely, lots to look forward too. They pretty much give them away in their regular sales, including the one on Steam right now.
