It does seem that even terrible looking games are completely immersive within the rift even as it is today. This bodes very well for a production headset with a high res display playing highly polished AAA titles.
Haven't flown her in a while, I always have fun when I do though. I'll make an effort soon. Can't wait to fly her low and fast when the new scenery finally arrives.
Maybe, but the human eye has much higher resolution than any screen, compromises always need to be found for gaming but upping the res can only be a good thing.
Okay, there will always be an exception of course. But I don't think many people would fight for it to stay as it is, I.E near impossible to find other aircraft visually.
Nobody really knows. These kind of threads pop up all the time though so presumably ED are aware. You would hope the new engine will have some kind of affect but don't rely on it. I think everybody agrees spotting needs working on in DCS.
