I'm guessing like most modules, the standalone of 1.5 will come out via the open beta branch and will eventually come to the open beta branch on steam (If it has one) a few days/weeks later after the standalone.

Hey guys, I like the look of this event, it's been a while since I've looked forward to participating in an event like this. It needs to happen more often! I'd prefer to join the RED side but I don't mind either side to be honest. Callsign: Rykane Preferred Aircraft: F-15C , MiG-21, SU-25T, A-10C, SU-27

I get this issue too and it only happens when in the Virtual Aerobatics server. I don't get any other issues with any other games and my temps are fine. I've chalked it up to DCS either having a memory leak when there are too many aircraft/textures being loaded into VRAM, there is no way that DCS needs 4GB of VRAM at 1080p.

I also get the same issues, I done a clean install and now when I installed the driver and software I get the multiple key presses per click of a button. I also get the issue where if you unplug the devices the computer will beep and the mouse lags too as if there's too many keystrokes being pressed. I contacted Saitek/Madcatz support and sent a ticket.

That's unfortunate to hear VH-Rock, I hope you guys find something suitable. Looking forward to hopefully be flying on VA again soonish.

I honestly love the way LN model their aircraft and pilots models, they look utterly amazing especially with the normals and diffuse maps. Great job, can't wait to fly this kitty!

I'm hoping that DCS World 2 will have the leading-edge vortices as well as the already implemented wingtip vortices. I've always wanted that feature in the game and if they already have the wingtip ones implemented I don't see why the leading-edge ones couldn't be too.

Congratulations ttaylor. I'm glad one of us were able to actually try and is succeeding in becoming the real deal. Unfortunately I'm colourblind so I would pretty much be unsuccessful in becoming a pilot but I can still dream :D I wish you luck and when you finish as a naval aviator, keep us updated :)

I'm currently getting the same issue. DCS is using all of my 4GB of VRAM. There is a memory leak or something is wrong. The game should not be using that amount of VRAM.

I get the same issue. My DCS uses upto 3.5GB of System RAM and uses 4GB of VRAM. After a while it seems to purge the textures or something and everything goes into solid colours and the textures disappear and frame rate drops to a slideshow. I also can't alt+tab in the game any more as it just results into a crash to desktop.The game never used to do this before the last two or three patches. I'm hoping it gets sorted as it's seriously affecting my playtime in DCS at the moment.

Try RSHIFT + L to turn on the electronics for the aircraft if you haven't already.

This thing is hard to fly, which is great as the previous version was too easy to fly. I've tried doing a cobra but usually end up in a inverted flat spin. I have tried formation online with someone and it's much harder now, I seem to be either going too fast or too slow as if the throttle is delayed slightly which means I overshoot lead or I'm too slow. I'm not sure if that's either a bug or realistic. I might just have to get used to it. Anyway, It's a fantastic feeling flying this bird. Great work ED.

Something happened to my wing.... I managed to land fine too.

I've been waiting for someone to do the same thing like Ricardo did for the A-10C. Looks great, I'll be keeping an eye on this. One suggestion is that I think it definitely should look more rusty/dirty and weathered like the A-10C version. Keep up the great work!

I still get around average of 30 fps in the sim. I'm really hoping EDGE helps.

I would wait for the 970 or 980 to be released. They've just announced them.

I hope you get guinea pigs users who have AMD and NVIDIA. That way it's not biased performance fixes. I am willing to help if you need anyone with a high end AMD card to test.
