  1. I don't think any of the weapons you mention can actually be carried by the current Su-33, maybe the Su-33K can but I'm not sure it can carry the KH-41 though..
  2. OLS-27 / Izdeliye 36Sh NPO Geofizika OLS-27 A combined IRST/LR device for the Su-27, similar to the MiG-29's KOLS but more sophisticated, using a cooled, broader waveband, sensor. Tracking rate is over 25deg/sec. 50km range in pursuit engagement, 15km head-on. The laser rangefinder operates between 300-3000m for air targets, 300-5000m for ground targets. Search limits are ±60deg azimuth, +60/-15° in elevation. Three different FOVs are used, 60° by 10°, 20° by 5°, and 3° by 3°. Detection range is up to 50km, whilst the laser ranger is effective from 300-3000m. Azimuth tracking is accurate to 5 secs, whilst range data is accurate to 3-10m. Targets are displayed on the same CRT display as the radar. Weighs 174kg. OLS-27K for Su-33 featured new algorithms and better processor. It allegedly tracked targets in pursuit mode by their IR signature at 90 km during tests. KOLS / Izdeliye 13Sh / OEPS-29 OKB: NPO Geophyizika OEPS-29 from the MiG-29 Fitted to the MiG-29A, KOLS is a combined IRST/LR device. All aspect device. Acquires targets independently, or with data input from the radar. Can detect a non-afterburning fighter head-on at a range of 12-18km. The collimated laser can provide ranging data from 200-6500m accurate to 3m. Scanning limits are ±30° azimuth, -15°/+30° elevation. Chart showing KOLS operational modes from MiG-29 combat employment manual Operates in several scanning modes. In large FOV mode scanning is ±30° azimuth, +30°/15° elevation. In small FOV mode scanning limits are ±30° azimuth and ±15° elevation. Close combat mode scans +16° to -14° by 4°. Lock-on mode scans 6° x 4°. Target tracking rate is up to 30°/sec. KOLS is able to reject flares only if the combined signature of the flares is less than the target. Targets are displayed on the same display as the radar. This was posted earlier in one of the forum posts.
  3. All the above items are normal and in accordance with real aircraft data. They are not issues! ;)
  4. I believe I've read somewhere that the real Su-27S has a target unlock button on the throttle. I don't believe there is a toggle function of the lock button in the real craft. Don't know about MiG-29 though.
  5. Even flying at 8000m with around 25-30 people in a server causes FPS to be in the single digits. Its unplayable with the fps drops and lag especially! Please ED, fix this!:worthy:
  6. Post a track or tacview of that mission so that the F-15 jocks can have a look at it and tell you where you are going wrong.
  7. As far as I know, DCSW only uses 2 cores. One for sound, and one for everything else.

Have to agree with ApoNOOB... AWACS and ATC is very annoying for FC3 aircrafts in multiplayer! Anyway that it can be turned off?
  9. I've flown the entire Su- series, entire MiG series, entire F- series, entire A- series etc etc.... :megalol: :D
  10. Oh! So did you fly the Su-35, PAK-FA, and the F-15C Golden Eagle so that you could tell the difference? Hmmmm... I'm guessing no. :P Even if you did read "classified data" and stuff, it says absolutely nothing... read-world (read wartime performance) performance differs quite significantly no matter what your classified data tells you. In the end, pilot skill matters the most no matter what aircraft you fly. Even a Su-25 can take out an F-15C, if the Su-25 pilot is better and vice-versa, an A-10A pilot can take out a Su-27S, if the A-10A pilot is better.
  11. Office computer!!!!
  12. it is a registry issue with lock on not writing the necessary entries in the registry. I'm not at my comp atm so pls do a search. Coff has already provided a solution to this.
  13. The MiG-29S variant is capable of carrying R-77. The MiG-29A isn't. It's been available since the original Lock On.
  14. I'm glad it worked for you comrade!!!!
  15. Please read this thread.... Answer from "C0ff" is on page 2 or 3.... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=97317

  20. Runs like a dream even on my relatively low-end system! Thanks comrades!
  21. Awesome pit. Now it feels more like flying a soviet era bird! :pilotfly:
  22. Thanks for the info comrade!
  23. Hi guys, just bought A-10C and BS2. Just a question here. I currently have the latest version of world installed 1.2.1.6xxx (can't remember the exact number). Now I'm downloading A-10C 1.2.1.5970... Will the A-10C module automatically update to the latest version or should I uninstall world and then reinstall it with all the modules?
  24. Requesting two IAF skins please.. I don't know if they are already asked but here they are...
