  1. The problem is that MiG-21's shake is airframe shake... Su-25's shake is just camera shake (pilot head shake).

  3. I hope this "later" fix, also fixes the screen shake while overspeeding. The plane can shake all it wants, like the F-14 at high AOA, I just don't want my eyeballs and the horizon to shake up and down with the cockpit.
  4. Modeled oil and fuel leakage would look nice especially when the airframe is being torn apart. Games like Ace Combat did it with huge exaggerations, DCS can model it to increase immersion, not only for MiG-29, but all other models.

This still exists after all these years. the problem is that when you try to move the piper AFTER the lock, it moves the piper in relation to it's location on glass/sight, not the ground. imagine you are locked on a tank, and want to target a truck next to it instead. it doesn't matter how you move the plane, the piper remains on the tank, but once you start adjusting, it loses its ground stabilization and follows the left/right/up/down orders in relation to its position on glass "at the moment you started to adjust". so if your plane has a nose up attitude, once you try to adjust it a bit to right, it goes a bit right and a lot up. To work around this bug you should trim the Su-25 to an absolute fixed and direct flight path and then try to adjust the laser aim. (pretty much impossible to track a moving target with it. This bug still exists after all these years and I hope the devs pay attention to it.
  7. +1 to this. it is totally random and frustrating. I just gave up using CCRP on Su-25 except for single drops.

Dear developers, I am not sure if I should post it here or not but the Su-25 main menu and loading pictures show a very old low graphic model of the aircraft and is clearly outdated. same goes for other FC3 modules; I was wondering if any fix or rework is planned for this? if not where and how can I suggest it? I really don't think of it being a burden on the dev team since it is just some photoshoot and image swap I believe. Best regards, Rook For those who don't have it or don't know what I mean.   9. I have already faced this problem but didn't have enough proof to post it here. Let's move this to bugs. I've had AB-on head on flankers or eagles which the PL-5 failed to lock. I did realize that caging the seeker and manually aiming the reticle at target works around this issue and gives me a lock much much sooner.
  10. I can reproduce it in the track file. Well I could the 3 times I watched the track. Does uploading a video of it helps? I guess it is a very rare bug.
  11. Dear moderators and developers, This bug occurred on PG map during a scrim. I was carrying 4 PL-5s + 2 tanks + 1 Jammer pod. I kept tracking one of the bandits with my radar on tws mode and PL5 seeker was slaved to look over it, however the distance was far for a lock or shot. after a while, the seeker symbology got stuck on the top left of hud. Switching between different missiles didn't fix the issue. putting master arm back to safe (turning off missiles) didn't work, the buzzer kept buzzing in cockpit. Switching hud mode (to nav) didn't fix it. I failed to reproduce the bug. but the track file shows it well. True, there are a lot more important stuff ahead of ED devs. the thing is, there are already solved skins, done by ISAAC, which perfectly match the real images, and ISAAC is offering ED to use for free. I know even that simple assessment and replacement still needs time, but years have already passed.
  13. we the DCS players point these out to make this simulator game a better version of itself. The tiny details do matter, as they did matter for skins of other countries and got fixed ASAP.

  15. The Bortnumber style is way off too. Let's not forget that! Airbase number (in the circle) is also non-existent. +1 to other errors. I see no reason for Aerges or ED to "NOT accept" the free offer from Sadjad Vosoul for the correct skins. they can compare it to the photos of the real aircraft.
  16. or they can forget the solid vegetation and etc and have them only in cities and important areas... an overall map with low detail containing only the elevations... plus an RNG machine placing trees and houses and shacks and whatever randomly in "not important" areas of the map. in multiplayer these can be received from the server... just plain data on type and position of objects... so no need to download gigs as you fly.... just a few kilobytes of data. I am no IT scientist or computer geek but I have read a similar suggestion before.
  17. that... +1... and more of northern Iraqi mountains. with addition of this country to a new map, or preferably, as an extension to Persian gulf map, many scenarios can be added: 1- Iran-Iraq war with the most extensive use of tomcats in the world (plus lots and lots of MiG-21 vs F-5 scenarios) 2- The Gulf wars 3- Invasion of Iraq 4- Insurgencies and ISIS rise to power, and of course hammering ISIS etc...
  18. it makes me sad to see how much Do-335 is being neglected. not even could find a post in wishlist, wishing to have Do-335 in DCS. some planes had great impact potential but arrived too late or few of them were readied. The 7,5 cm bordkanone duck was one of them as well as the Pfeil.
  19. I am not sure if this was posted before or not, but I looked and didn't find any. I was wondering if it is possible to remove the drum looking gunsight camera from the cockpit. It is not and never was a mandatory instrument AFAIK and obstructs the view.
  20. The refresh rate has reduced... and about the speed and altitude ladders, it has got a 4-5ish frame per second update now, instead of the smooth rising or lowering ladder we had on the sides.
  21. I know it might sound stupid but I didn't find any answers on the net. next to the Su-27 HUD there is a tube connected to a pericscope-looking device facing down. is it the camera? if it is, why isn't it facing forward like the one in Su-25 and is facing down?

  25. well at least I am relieved now knowing that it isn't about my client, and it is about the game update. thanks should we report it elsewhere? or mods just add this to the list of problems from here??
