I've had that happen. It's not fuel starvation, engine doesn't sputter or prop windmilling, it a full seizure, prop is locked in place. Sounds more like oil pressure, redlining MP, WEP, or some kind of combination with Hi-G.
I haven't had this good of performance since A-10 1.1.1.1. Thanks.
Thanks also for bringing back the longer lasting burn times and smoke effects on destroyed vehicles. Great for visual references. :)
I ran both 1.1.1.1 and 1.2.0 without issues, just wondering if keeping 1.1 will create issues with 1.2.1. Anyway, I think it's time to mothball the standalone.
On cold days, you'll most likely need to dilute the oil. If you're "hot" starting it, you may not need to click the primer which might flood the engine.. , just a guess at this point.
TX-EcoDragon, I enjoyed your Xwind tutorial, very good instruction. It would be nice if you could create one specifically for DCS Mustang. It would be a good addition to the Mustang training wiki.
Let's say that I don't install 1.2.1 until sometime in the future and 5 patches have been released through the updater. Will the initial installation package on the site be updated to the latest patched version?
Hopefully that was an emergency landing and the unmarked ski jump isn't part of their grass strip. lol. I bet there was a bit of structural damage with that jolt. Obviously not a strip with those taxiways cutting across.
I haven't updated yet, I think the FPS issues are corrected with the latest update, but I'll wait for a few more to chime in. One question, I'm curious about and didn't see any posts regarding differences in takeoff handling. Has anyone noticed differences? I understand the trim and "torque" issues were addressed.
