Could someone explain what this is? The rudder anti-booster tab now works correctly. I'm not sure if it's related, but are the rudder trim wheel units now in sync with the RW settings (5-6 units of right trim for takeoff)?

I've been having a lot of problems connecting to MP lately with constant CTD's accessing the master server list. In fact we had to cancel our session last night because no one could get in after an hour of trying. I saw this post afterward , I know it's for a different issue , but I set the Speed to LAN and it let me right in to the Master List. I just don't know if that was coincidence and it is too early to tell if it's works consistently.

Set up some ROE's like not firing on the first pass, or if there aren't any ROE's , then I guess adjust to do the same to your opponent. which doesn't sound like much fun. It would be more like a p*ssing contest.

Interesting, so you get "Transfer complete" when you disengage the fuel flow while you're still connected? Funny I've never tried it, but it makes sense. I always backed off and used the abort refueling command. It's good to know.

I've never heard of this, if you take a screenshot it freezes your AC and causes the missile to lose track?

There are two instances when this happens for me. The first is if I'm riding too high on the boom, so basically I'm out of parameters or close to snapping the boom. The other instance is instead of the "transfer complete" transmission, the tanker says "Disconnect" when I'm full and when I reconnect I don't get more fuel. I noticed this issue in 1.1 MP , but it appears to be the case in both SP and MP in 1.2. I'm curious if anyone has gotten the "Transfer Complete" transmission in 1.2?

It was the FARP, once I moved it off the airfield, wingy followed. Hmm.

Actually I was fooling around with dynamic weather just prior to posting the mission. I initially had static weather and the wind at no more than 4 m/s and had the same issue. Previously I had all the flights sharing the same frequency which I thought might cause the issue, so I made my flight unique which didn't help. Could the FARP on the airbase cause the issue? I'll try moving it off base to see if that makes a difference.

Make sure that the tanker frequency is using the X freq, Unless it's been changed in 1.2, the Y freq does not give DME.

I can't get my A-10 wingman to follow me from the ramp at Nalchik, He just sits there. I thought it may have to do with all flights sharing the same frequency, so I changed our flight to a unique one, but still nothing. I've attached the specific mission, maybe someone can tell what the issue is. Thanks, SEAD.miz

I'd like to see some control over trains, waypoints, start times, etc., also perhaps some '40's style locomotives. I feel guilty about strafing civilian trains when I come across them.

^ I think that depends on the system running it. I'm not expecting much improvement on mine, but it would be a nice surprise if it happens. :)

Nice! I was thinking you were using "the Force" there without the sight, but finally saw it when you closed in. Is this the current version or the new dev version?

If there is JTAC available, in most cases they will mark the target on your TAD once you go through the contact procedures. Of course there are some JTAC missions that are voice only (no data uplink) or no JTAC available at all. So learning how to input target coords is important in this case. The briefings and map should also give you a general idea where the targets are located.

I was RDP'd into another system, must have been some device sharing issues. It's fine now. Strange that only those specific posts were affected.

Very strange, something's going on with Yo-Yo's posts where the entire page is black, at least on my system. I had to go to the previous page and add this message.. Can't read his post in the Developer's notes either.

It took me about a week to learn the "wheelie", and I'm still not as consistent as i'd like, it's finding that "sweet spot". I enjoy challenges like that, never a boring moment.

Hopefully he'll have a chance to fly DCS and give us a good review, but the forces and corrective measures he describes really rings true for the DCS Mustang as well. Good post.

That's the way I do it, back pressure keeps the tail wheel firmly planted while running up to rotation speed.

Master Server CTD happened with me and a few others trying to sign in tonight. It seemed to right itself around 6:00 PM PDT / 0100 Z.

Which version are we talking about?
