  1. They are difficult to see with TIR, too. They seem to be completely under the seat.
  2. Switch out the 25 Ml's for 25 MPU's , Shorter range AR than the 58's but they should home on to the Tors and Tanguskas.
  3. I replayed a track of my P-51 -taxi and takeoff from Beslan. In the original I taxied down the runway and did a 180 at the end of the runway for takeoff, in the track, the plane turned 90 deg and proceeded to take off perpendicular to the runway, of course a wheel caught in the mud and cartwheeled. I didn't modify any views in the track. For the most part, though, the tracks aren't too bad if I don't mess with the views too much, otherwise in several cases the plane augers in. It's like it skips a few frames, gets out of sync and the AI loses SA, particularly where the ground is.

  5. AtA mode also picks up moving ground vehicles, I noticed that when I was trying to lock up a chopper.
  6. I was mistaken the missions weren't identical, BMP2's vs BMP3's, BMP2's apparently don't have laser directed guns (or at least they don't trigger the MWS.)
  7. Sorry if this has been noted before, I tried searching but found no results. I have a mission with a some BMP2's and BMP3's which I have run in both 1.1 and 1.2. In 1.1. I get a circled "L" on the RWR to designate enemy laser activity, in 1.2 these do not show up. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I need to activate the display some other way, or whether it was removed because it was unrealistic.
  8. Those canopy reflections were a real FPS killer for me, but I'm happy to say that when I turn them off there are still reflections on the canopy, though perhaps not dynamic. It's good that there are still some reflections, because I was expecting a perfectly clear canopy.

I don't see a specific entry for the targeting pod axis, however it appears to be working nonetheless, although the vertical movement is reversed from the A-10 TGP axis (which I believe is correct for the Toad). I want to slow down the target box travel, it's too fast and jumpy. I'd like to do this exclusively in the Sim Controller options menu if possible. What is the specific entry and what axis tuning parameters should I use?
  11. The only sim that I remember having TV Guided bombs was in one of the old Jane's titles ( F-15E or possibly Jane's F/18 Superhornet). If I recall you could make some last minute adjustments on the flight path with the MFD buttons. It's been so long I'm not sure of the bomb designation or if it was reality based.

  14. P-51 internal cockpit is a slide slow for me compared to the A-10. Maybe it's the vibration effect in the center console that's killing it in the P-51? Is there any way to turn that effect off or tone it down a bit for me to test?
  15. I don't know if this is the case for you, but I get that when I fly too high on the boom. I've also had this happen in MP , where instead of the boom op saying "Transfer Complete", he'd say "Disconnect'. I haven't flown much MP in 1.2, so I don't know if it's still the case.

I believe in FC2 there were several AP modes and if I recall, once you enter one of those submodes, the Master AP key doesn't automatically turn it off, I think you had to hit a different key to disengage (maybe KP9?), This is from memory, but perhaps this is part of the issue, that a submode has been engaged. I believe there are several "mode" lights on the left console, make sure none of them are lit.
  17. I haven't been able to get it to work in cockpit with Track IR, but with Track IR who needs it? Otherwise, it works for external views.
  18. Somewhere in the options menu, padlock needs to be turned on as well. Not sure if it's default checked. I think it's under "Cheats". :D
  19. I don't know , taxing up next to a a Hummer or refueling truck, it looks about right to me.
  20. That's why the only thing that would work is a direct hit, astronomical odds imo.
  21. Hehe, yeah I'm sure if the OP is referring to cruise missiles or SAMS. Either way, a very lucky shot..
  22. In the sim world however current S-300's (naval variants) reach mach 6 to 8.
  23. I used to hunt Exocets in one of the old Jane's titles. or maybe it was Fleet Defender. You'll only get one lucky shot in A-10 since you're only going about 300 kts compared to mach 6 missiles .
  24. No problems that I've seen. I attached a trk file which shows 2 circuits around Minvody with a 9 m/s crosswind from the SW, Left to Right on rwy. First I had ailerons into the wind, good takeoff , landing had major crabbing into the wind. Second takeoff I had ailerons neutral and almost lost it in the right shoulder, so it appears to be working as advertised. Eta. . I think the rolling to the left is engine torque. Try setting the wind to the opposite direction (right to left) and you'll see that the roll to the left is much more pronounced. X-Wind.trk
