  1. Use a flag set random value and time after flag changed condition to restart a transmission every 20 seconds, this allows latecomers to pick up the signal
  2. You will see some neat details with the munitions. Smaller caliber cannons that are dual fed (AP and HE) will still fire the prior type of round after the user selected another ammo type. This is true to their real life counterpart. You can watch tank rounds fired, slow down the game speed and zoom in on that round flying down range. Its an actual 3d model of a Sabot round flying. Really neat
  3. I think anything that adds to realism would be a plus. I do think it becomes more difficult if designing multiplayer missions though. There is a definite correlation between the level of mission detail and the level of something breaking in a public multiplayer environment.
  4. Has the developers acknowledged this issue anywhere? I really hope we get to transport troops again.
  5. I hope so, it would be great to have that freedom of movement while driving a ground vehicle.
  6. Same here, cannot get the "descent" option to load up troops. Hopefully there's a fix for it. I've included the mission I've been working on if anyone wants to take a look. RunwayAttack.miz
  7. Same here, I have the sling option but not the embark radio option. It was working on a mission I have been working on prior to the last two patches but now no matter what I do I cannot get that radio option to pop up. Any advise? RunwayAttack.miz
  8. Is track ir working for anyone while sitting in the driver's position? I can change my point of view with the mouse but my track ir5 doesnt seem to do anything. Ive checked the axis in the control settings and they work there but not ingame.
  9. Just a little something to add to this, there is also a Garmin GPS antenna on the Shark. I believe Garmin is an American company as well.
  10. Was that a ruptured fuel tank when the left wheel broke off?
  11. They show up pretty good with EOS in the russian birds.
  12. There is only one way to find out.........anybody got a real P51 they could lend us? ;)
  13. Plus I usually reset trim once I come into a hover, go into auto hover then activate turn on target. This always worked well for me.
  14. Not I. My birthday is this month and I'm patiently waiting. I got the go ahead from household 6 and I am ready for this joker to release in all its glory!
  15. I like all the new people. Its what we need in this niche.
  16. Hopfully in time ED will revamp some of the ground weapon systems. If you want to see something funny, fire off a tow and then aim skyward. It looks like a poor man's SAM
  17. Remember, in real life you cant shoot out to 8000m through trees. In CA you can. It's just a limitation of the current sim.
  18. If the LAV25 is engaging at 5000 meters, thats a problem/bug.
  19. Try applying throttle slowly. If you go full throttle too fast the amount of torq will spin the airframe.
  20. That is freaking amazing, I wouldn't event want to drive in that soup:joystick: I wonder would A10's operate in that kind of fog. They still have their ILS needles and I've done some ILS practice on Batumi in fog at night, but it wasn't exactly pretty.
  21. Wow! I had no ideas those airliners could do all of that. I wonder do larger military aircraft have some of those features.
  22. I’ve been watching several youtube videos of FSX’s larger commercial aircraft such as the PMDG 737. I’m blown away by the number of systems that is in this aircraft. My question is, besides from the obvious difference with the physical aircraft or intended purpose, are there navigational systems that civilian aircraft possess that the A10C doesn’t? Im pretty familiar with the TADs and CDU, and couldn’t think of anything else I would need to get from point A to B. But is there? Would love to hear from someone with both sims or real world knowledge. -Happy Flying
  23. Yes, can't wait to make some missions for it.
  24. I place it center mass, but if the missile settles low and right, I'll bring it up and left a bit and vice versa. If you zoom in you should be able to see the back side of the missile.
  25. In the sim that is what it seems. I understand after the initial launch the missile should swerve here and there as it settles in. I just don't understand why, when you have the crosshairs planted center mass on a stationary target, the missile will sometimes settle off boresight and miss and others it will fly true. And the flight motors are burning way too long. They only have somewhere around a 2 sec burn time, the rest is all kinetic energy carrying it to the target.
