  1. I have found that lately when flying online I have started using the Mirage as my go to SEAD aircraft. It could be, because of its amazing low altitude high speed performance. Or the ease of use of all of its systems. Or it's great jammer. But I have had far more success in SEAD strikes with the Mirage than any other aircraft. The Harrier is my close second. Nothing is more fun than dropping to 50ft off the ground doing 400-600knts popping up to drop 5 82SEs on your target and dip back down and run away.
  2. So am I. If you start the engine you can no longer remove the wheel chocks. It's so funny that one of my org-mates found a meme about it.
  3. I recently flew my Harrier online and I can say they fixed some things and broke others. The graphics for the weapons control panel got broke in the most recent patch. It used to light up red when you selected a station now it stays black. Sidearms sensors are very broken, you won't get a lock tone but it will be tracking. Other times you will get a tone and it is not tracking anything. The CCIP drop line will sometimes be wildly off target, like inverted. The gun pip is about as accurate as a WWII gun sight. These are just a few of the things I have noticed.
  4. Interesting... Funny I read the notes. No where does it say, starting engine will make it impossible to remove wheel chalks even when brake is set.
  5. The only issue I have with the sidearm damage is it doesn't take into account equipment damage to the vehicle. It may not kill the vehicle but it will disable it's radar and possibly the optics and guns.
  6. Fair enough. It is a pain to remove the wheel chalks when you have started the aircraft on the Tarawa.
  7. I would rather have the AH-1 first before the AH-64. Mainly because we need more Marine attack helicopters.
  8. So I found after the last update the Harrier will accelerate even when the engine is at idle. I did a test and found I can get up to 50knts at idle on a long enough runway. You can not remove the wheel chalks because of this and it makes taxing around the Tarawa extremely difficult.
  9. If I have no recon images or a drone over the location to see the targets. I will do one high speed low level pass to see if I can spot the targets. If I spot them I will leave the area get about 10-12nm out climb to a safe altitude turn back in mark the closest point I can to them and set my bombs to ripple off at a 50m spread all in one pass to try and hit it. The Mirage 2000c is not a precision strike aircraft. But for most DEAD missions I will use BLG-66 Belugas. And as far as I can tell the 2000c was never capable of SEAD with ARM missiles.
  10. Thank you for explaining it.
  11. What about the use of the Exocet missile? For anti ship work?
  12. So looking at the Mirage and having flown it for nearly year online. I have a question about the weapons loadout. So as far as I can find in game the M2k can have 2 Magic and 2 530Ds. Is it not possible for it to have an additional 4 530s on the inner hardpoints? Those are usually loaded with bombs but useless for anything else. It is a little odd for an interceptor to have so much fuel but no weapons staying power. Having 4 missiles and guns is well a but sad.
  13. Odd all of these issues and yet I have experienced none of these with my harrier. Perhaps because I am on a Steam install? The agm65f hits what I target if I target the right thing and not a tree or a house... I actually love flying the Harrier it is quickly becoming my favorite go to module. Because I don't have to mess around with runways or really much when it comes to landing or take off. It range surprised me, I don't need drop tanks when playing on the Caucuses map online, and can easily hit any location with any weapons combo possible while taking off from the Tarawa and return. My only complaints are not with the aircraft itself. It is with the weapons. The rockets are really suceptible to wind. The TPOD is very much an after thought on the aircraft and shoe horned into it's design after the fact. This isn't on RAZBAM, but on the real weapons issues .. I can deal with it.
  14. I won't go into my bewilderment over the EE. But ok whatever it's better than another late model fighter.
  15. J-10 is the only Chinese aircraft I am vaguely interested in.
  16. It does the same thing to me. If my AFC is on the trim is all over the place. If I disable it I can fly pretty much fine. Which sucks because you kind of need that for your altitude hold autopilot... Makes using the TGP or the DMT and MAV camera a bit more challenging but not impossible.
  17. Fair enough answer.
  18. Something about a Harrier launching AMRAAMS is kind of fun. Is this in the realm of possibilities?
  19. Is there any plans of creating the 2000-5 model for in-game. The 2000C is a great fighter but it falls short when dealing with more modern aircraft that are fox-3 trucks. Or even against other fox-1 fighters. The limit of 4 missiles is really frustrating considering the range of the aircraft.
