The only issue with the Falcon is it doesn't have hung stores modeled. Over G with bags on or bombs and they will get stuck. So far I think only the JF has that modeled.
-
Only 8 Su-25Ts were produced. They went straight to the TM model which became the Su-39.... And later canceled in 2000. The Su-25SM became the final upgrade of the Su-25 along side the Su-25KM which is a full glass cockpit version.

It would not bother me one way or the other. I have said they should fix the mixed weapons loadout on the Mirage. But if DCS went through and removed a lot of the things that the real aircraft don't have.... There would be a lot of really unhappy people. I don't understand all of the focus on the hate of the M2K? It does have a helmet display for the radar. In RAZBAM subforum they even talk about the MLU for the M2K. Now I haven't looked at it in a while but I do recall seeing the post. If ED were to remove things that aren't in use .. then the F-16 would lose two HARMs. The F-18 wouldn't haul 10 AMRAAMs around, and the Su-25T would be removed.

From the research I can find, the mid-life upgrade on the 2000C added a helmet mounted radar repeater. They have a full HMD on the other 2000 models, like the -5 models.

You are right we lack real redfor 70-80s model fighters. I mean we have the Mig-23 "soon"... And the 21 Bison.. but we keep getting more 1990s or later bluefor fighters. F-16 blk50. F/A-18C lot 20. F-15E (coming soon) A-10C II. AV8B (NA). F-14B. High fidelity redfor post 1990 modules. JF-17/FC-1. Pre-1990 bluefor high fidelity modules. F-14A. F-15E. F-86F. Mirage 2000C. AJS-37. Pre-1990 redfor. Mig-21. Mig-15. Mig-23(soon) Noticing an issue.

Can't engage ZSU 23-4 Shilka with Anti-Radiation missiles?
Hodo replied to Snappy's topic in Su-25 for DCS World
You can't really target AAA with ARMs on any aircraft except maybe the AGM-122 Sidearm. I usually use vikrs for killing Shilkas. -
No when you are in first person. I have it mapped to the "I" key to bring up the HMD radar. I can't see it at all in third person. I will look it up tonight in my key mapping. If I could take a screenshot I would but since my upgrade I have been having an issue taking any. One better here is a YouTube video of it. https://youtu.be/xHnRi1RVYCM

It is basically a repeater of the radar screen on your visor for your helmet. Also you only use the radar for BVR after that switch to dogfight mode and use the mark 1 I-ball.

You are missing a big thing with the Mirage. It has a helmet mounted display for the radar. You can display the radar on your visor top right. No need to look down any more. I have had my Mirage the longest and is by far my favorite full fidelity aircraft. But I also spend a lot of time in the JF, AV8B Harrier and the Su-27/33/11. I can say the strength of the Su-27 is it's long range engagement capabilities and pretty large missile load. The Mirage is very much like the MiG-29. It is an interceptor with very limited air to ground capacity. All of the systems on the Mirage are very easy to use and the cockpit is well laid out.

I have had both SDs and 120s do the same thing. They are not god mode missiles. They can be miss. Remember finding a target against ground than it is against the sky.

I can stick it to the deck without much of an issue between 3-5 deg. 8 is when I am slamming it. I did some more landings last night on the GAW server and found that my landing approach is 3-5 deg. I ignore most of the indications... Been landing WWII planes on decks in sims since the 90s.

Ok watched the video on a larger screen. 1- your launch perimeters was off. You were going .92 mach at what looked liked you were below 20kft asl. The range was well with in the range... 2- The F-15 did what he was supposed to do. Turn, dive and go fast....all of which the Eagle excels at. He broke mach 1.4 and the SD-10 was unable to track the extreme lead. You can do the same thing to Aim-120s.
-
It looks like they broke the lock. That is it. Also what range were those shots taken and at what alt, speed and what was the velocity and alt of the target? I can't really see on my phone.
-
What do you mean to thick? Granted what you are seeing vs what I am seeing on my phone are different. If you are talking about the odd fuzzy look od the text on the HUD turn down the brightness.

In the JF, MiG-29, and Mirage my landing glide slope is 2-3 degrees. The F-18C the carrier landing glide slope is 5-8deg. I basically found that dropping it on the carrier at 130-140kts is about the best approach.

Let me correct something for you. The JF-17 Block 1 we have in game does not have an internal SPJ. It is a dedicated pod that has to be mounted on a pylon. It like the ECM pod on the Su-25A and T, the AV8B Harrier which both of those aircraft don't have a radar.
-
Unfortunately I didn't count those when I found them because they are mock ups. I have been looking for in service pictures.
-
Most aircraft you have to flare on landing. In the JF if you don't flare your kidneys will be around your ears.
-
I am continuing to search. It appears the PAF is pretty tight lipped about the weapons capabilities of the JF. And the Chinese don't often give information out to western sources or even Asian sources. Aside from some very grainy pictures I have found that do not confirm or deny anything I have found. Hell one of the pictures is so bad it looks like it has a harpoon under the wings. But are most likely drop tanks. Granted I have also not found any evidence of the JF-17 block 1/2 that we have having the dual SD/LD 10 racks. Not that I want that to go away. I mean as long as the F-16 has four HARM missiles.....

This is very true. The Iraqi Army as of 1990 was a very formidable force on paper. A very large and experienced military with moderately advanced equipment and training. Had the RAF attack run gone as initially planned with one pass they would have had minimal risk. But as you said those tactics rely on surprise. No prox rounds but the HEF-T round is according to Jane's. It is usually three HEF-T rounds for every one API-T round.

The ZSU-23-4 fires API-T HEI-T and FRAG-HE-T.
