Ties in with my fiddling with the HOTAS to get the axes sorted so I can actually enjoy what has been a bucking Bronco. Hi Guys, That just proves that e-bay has no idea about trade descriptions ha ha. Ours was blue with a yellow roof, The Griffin looks like it was borrowed off the Police, but if it's good enough to train a prince, good enough for me. That thing is NOT RAF....MOD would never get enough money for the paint!

Thank you Re the auto, no time to check switches, recall the rotors are already running and it took about 10 seconds to bang - no rotors Yes I set the switches to default, but then realised that my CDU's too count as buttons/axes, move the slider to the right on the options page,and sure enough there were buttons assigned to the axes, including collective and power. Deleted these and put the helo on the tarmac, solid thud thud thud of rotors turning....yeeehaaa Thank you gentlemen for your assistance Flyingscotsman

Thank you Joey45, Collective at lowest setting, I have a button assigned to the power but can't get it 'down' fast enough before the blades come off, will fiddle some more Since my last post I have deleted my current version, brought my backup copy accross and it still did it So I did a re-install off the website and still the same. I can be flying or start from cold, it works but rotors running - 10 seconds now - bang no blades Will try your suggestion this evening when I get back from work thank you

I have had this from the start in that with the rotors running on the runway there is a bang after 10- seconds and the blades fly off. End of flight I used to be able to fly again,and it would just work fine. Now it happens every time, or the runway from the parking lot with rotors running However it's ok to be at 'Turning point' just a bit hairy and you can cold start from the ramp I think the answer is to cut the power on the collective, because the same happened when I held the start button too long and the blades came off then Can we have fix that brings down the power....if I'm right Thank you:smilewink:

Have hit a snag, downloaded skins from this site, then when starting the mission on the runway, the motors runs for a few seconds, bang - no blades. Previously I was able to restart the mission and it would work. Now it goes bang/stop every mission. Tried repair, still the same, now downloading the latest install version from scratch and will install again. Any ideas? - Brilliant sim, but just this bug Thank you

Hello GREAT Sim, Thank you. Just tried the 'quiet' start up mission, got it going, but if you are a bit late in turning off the engine starter do yo all get a bang and the blades are parked under the helo. I take it thats a bad start/failure However, I do have a little problem when I first start missions I get the bang and the helo has no blades and of course will not lift off. But if you just restart the mission it works fine. No great shakes, does not bother me too much. Still rubbish at hovering but can now hover taxi but have to watch the speed, but considering a pilot learns to fly a plane firs and then the helo over about two years....not bad going THANK YOU to all involveld

Got mine down after after multiple broken contacts, installed and flying...well of sorts, hand eye feet co-ordination of one legged drunk, managed an excellent flare on first landing...shame I fireballed it! 2nd & 3rd attempts much better, LOVE IT need to do some throttle adjustments.. THANK YOU

EtherealN Thank you that did it I did kinda get there and then come back to find your excellent advice, It was the apache that screwed things up, so deleted that mod and replaced the ka-50 folder Then ran the update file as administrator Kinda like the apache but not so sure its worth it, Thank you again and to others who pitched in earlier in the day 1.2.3 is in and I'm back to being a flyingscotsman

Have had cockpitka50.dll corrupt,. then the game crashes Done the anti virus -Sent off the error report to eagle.ru, Then took a copy from a backup I had, and placed it in the new 1.2.3 version, the A-10 at least loaded up and trundled off down the runway But Black shark will not load, game crashes with no explanation Ran the repair option as Adminstrator, back to the corrupt cockpitka50.dll Any ideas? Thank you flyingscotsman....in A-10 at the moment

Error and crash on update 1.2.3 Spoke too soon, Error with ka-50 cockpit has been modified, then game crashes. Will get the error fileout and send it to DCS later this evening Have a copy of the original cockpit dll so will put that on after too Yes mine took ages to download firs time too flyingscotsman

1.2.3 fails to install, assistance please Hi, I disabled the anti virus, downloaded the patch via the autoupdater When I opened dcs world still has ver 1.2.2.7570 Have run repair dcs and it checked local files, downloaded update, verified install, installed successfully - still got 1.2.2.7570 Have tried to run DCS installer as adminstrator, it flashes for a 'blink' and the game loads Still on old version any assistance appreicated flyingscotsman

I have bought/installed FC3 which goes into DCS World, I have removed MODMAN and all add ons, But since installation of FC3 on DCS World 1.2.2.2 the KA-50/A-10 take minutes to load from what were 30 second starts on flights I created ages back and have been fine. When they do eventually load the first few minutes is spent waiting for it to unfreeze and then find I'm in the air.... from a runway start I use Trackir and it will appear working but there have been moments when only the in cockpit view is available Definately a performance hit having FC3 installed I have checked my stick settings and cleared off any that could cause interferance. FCC3 is good but the frame hit is a pain
