  1. I'm on1.5.2 48162 and getting the same unknown when it has offered the install in the module manager, will try again later as I updated everything yesterday after installing a new hard drive, but thank you for the assistance updater 2 6 1147 then the game crashes and reloads
  2. Big thank you to Snowsniper for the timer , would never have found that and Zeus for the update information, updating win 10 at the moment, will start the mirage download just befor Christmas Dinner, that's my present -well timed and with thanks and best wishes to all involved
  3. Hi Arden, Thats BRILLIANT!
  4. Hi Everyone, You do realise that us grown ups are acting like kids with our noses pressed up against the DCS shop window....must be a scary sight on the other side, me I'm going back inside....and popping back occasionally, lol, Merry Christmas
  5. Hi Slipp Merry Christmas and thank you for the heads up on that, man the credit card's going to get hammered on my way to retirement lol. The cockpits will be amazing, I had a ride booked in the 2 seater, but the previous flight was a bird strike...man was I cheesed at that bird lol
  6. 3am in Uk all Christmas jobs done. I don't expect anyone to release on Christmas Day, they have families too & I'm sure, like me they have worked hard. We will have to respect the aircraft is living up to it's name, and Mirage it is.....until some time next week - always the optimist, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone, We must hope Santa remembers all us big kids too!
  7. When I lived in Greece/Cyprus & the Greeks have these Mirage's, they always used to shrug and say 'Maybe tomorrow', looks like we need to take a leaf out of their book. It'll be here when it gets here
  8. At the risk of being boring, it'll be out when it's out, it's a multitude of factors that cause delays. It will not be perfect, but we will fly it and LOVE IT, I'm sure. We just have to be patient...as long as it's not as long as NTTR took, lol
  9. Hungarojet, lol I'm amazed your still alive ha ha
  10. Just seen the post by JCBAK, had a look at them, they look NICE. You do get what you pay for, looks like the piggy bank is going to have bad accident if my CH'S mysteriously fail
  11. Demon is right about the CH pedals, I find them a bit narrow, have the pilot seat and a warthog system. Had the pedals from years and years back. Fancy the Saitek but see the mixed reports on quality. But we spend a long time on these, If I had my time again, I would get the Saitek for comfort and 'spread out feet' hope this helps
  12. I can't complain, I got the Mirage and NTTR as a 'saving' on the full price as soon as they came out, then I had a few injuries from previous military life (Lugging too much in a skinny body) so when work got me a new chair and stand up table, wonderful wife got me the pilot seat (LOL). Mind you it did cost me a house and we're working on getting it to the bosses' standard, but the computer room 'spare' room will never be decluttered...'do you really need all that?,,,er yes, do you really need the dog? ....it goes all quiet, tee hee (I'm no hero, just old cold war warrior) Shes the best thing that ever happened to me, and does ask from time to time what the hell I'm doing. Did bug the hell out of her in the PMDG 737 with the stewardess call,....that went down well.
  13. USAFMTL - I agree it would be good, I enjoyed the old airbase tour mission , where you passed over the war memorials etc. There are a few places in there from British military history too of course. But a bit too far back for the RAF to take part in lol.
  14. I agree with the last gent, in my case it too 8 hours to download lol, but just taken VEAO Classic British trainer down the Vegas strip, the nearest I'll ever get to a Rols Royce, (the made engine I think) It's a wee classic, like an E-type jag. Nice work on the scenery and the Hoover Dam is really neat. THANK YOU TO ALL Dave
  15. Hi Westr, Thanks for the info, I've not really taken my mig-21 out much, too many other diversions, and not got 1.5 as I'd be a rubbish Beta tester. Really looking forwad to 1.5 sorted version LOL and the F-14 of course.
  16. The IL-76 is hose and drogue, so that'll do for now. Even the kc-135's have an adaption for hose fitted aircraft.
  17. Not a clue what it can be, but got my wallet ready. complex systems and thick hand book, f-16, or Prowler....? Whatever, I'll be in the queue
  18. Having just found this page, lazy reader, I have only two comments. 1.Brilliant news about the f-14, when do you want my money 2. No idea what the other developments are, but your probably going to get the rest of my money, LOL
  19. Already got it and enjoyed the Video immensly. Thank you Python. And how many flying complaints did that generate lol.
  20. I am happy with what I get. I have no skill at making these things. I admire those who can. I'm not impressed with those who cannot and whinge. AFM/EFM, I don't care a hoot, to be able to have this technology at our fingertips is amazing and great FUN. Just think of the fuel bill to get this thing to the end of the runway in real life...a once in a lifetime experience LOL. I had a pilot tell me one time that my comms budget for the station would'nt allow him start the Tornado and do the pre-flight. So lets be happy that all this work is for our benefit, we should enjoy and be happy. Well done Razbam
  21. Regarding Sebas1977 civvie planes. I wonder if there will be civ air traffic around McCarron? That would be realistic, (I'm not an ultra realistic nut) But a few planes would be 'normal' Don't need to fly them, just AI. Not sure if DCS chief beagle has that in the wings. But I'm in on the NTTR & the Mirage that came out. I would like some Military transports, AN-22 as AI, but appreciate that takes time and effort on those who can make these things, I'll leave it to the grown up's who can make these thing's as I have no skill in that direction. Just really happy that these sims are avaialbe
  22. I'm impressed they let him take pics in the cockpit, looks like it's had some use eh! Looks like you guys will be our manual, because the only thing I can find is in French (no surprise there) So if you care to print that all....lol. Your knowledge invaluable, Thank you
  23. Pity is that they will probably not do the 2 seater for a long time, I generally like the 2 seater shapes better than the single seaters, F-18 Growler, e-6 Prowler etc. But the dyed in the wool fighter community would have a fit. DCS would want all the bells and whistle's to work. But it's nice to see a different jet come on line. I hope the Harrier has a two seater, cos I'll need an instructor on board to get it onto a carrier without dancing accross the deck into the sea.. The RAF knew what they were doing when they binned my aircrew application at Biggn Hill...showing my age lol. Flight sim's prove we just never grow up ha ha
  24. I'll second that - going to have to explain that 'error' on the credit card too, lol. Only seen this at displays and the 2 seaters came to RAF Honington, very nice. Don't expect a 2 seater just very happy to see this one. Get some French skins on the KC-135 and it'll be great fun. Should get some nice skins off the community too.
  25. It would be nice to have a manual in English, I've pre-purchased and it looks like I'll be getting shot down every few minutes while I press buttons madly LOL. However hopefully they'll get on utube and let us have a video run through. A card for speeds/fuel burn etc might be useful and not difficult to produce. Il' ne pas parlez Francais, Je vais avoir besoin d'un manuel s'il vous plaît. or in Scottish Geeza book aboot it!
