  1. Random guess: the last belsimtek creation or edge.
  2. So aren't you not THAT dedicated?
  3. Thanks for this. This honesty is very appreciated. The way to go incrementally in complexity is wise. Keep it good. Oh, and for the Mirage 2000C => :bounce::bounce::bounce: Hope you can get enough information about it. The french are not reputed to reveal easily their defense tech.
  4. Now, in DCS-W, I'll look closer to aim-9 prior the blast to see little green dwarfs abandoning the 'ship' :)
  5. Prepar3d: $50 Vrs superbug: $45 Vrs tacpack: $35 Other 'nice eye candy' modules: a month of pay... Thanks but no thanks. Anyway, it is still a very interesting project for who is into FSX
  6. Can't figure why it is too much complicated to develop the SM version. Is it a question of accuracy of sources? Or is it too challenging to code? Or is it just a choice of the team?
  7. You're welcome...
  8. Sooooooooooooooo, the thread started from Wags's avatar to come to Kate Upton... Can't imagine if we talk about F-14 n°161444 of VX-4...
  9. 2500Kbps now. Yahooooooo!
  10. Yep, just as I noticed just before... After the last update download, I clicked to download the training missions for the Huey... Fatal error: 300+ Mb to download. Downloading for 2 hrs+ now and not even at 50%
  11. Oh, no! 300+Mb update to download @ 20-50Kbps. When can I play DCS World anymore? I love the sim but if their is something I get really rid of is that slow download speed for updates. Can I overshoot that process or let it run in back task while I play DCS? So the sim could update when it's actually downloaded. When I have spare time to play,, it's not to be blocked by a slow download process... And when updates are downloaded, I have no time anymore. Now, I am
  12. I prefer they focus on their current projects, DCS:F/A-18c and completion of F-15c and SU-27sm for DCS World. Err, talking about this, can't find anymore if it will be a DCS: Su-27sm or Su-27sm for dcs world level of fidelity.
  13. But let you comment the Friday news... ;)
  14. It's Wagsday,... :) Opened, now F5-F5-F5-.......... A guess of the news?
  15. John Carmack becomes CEO of occulusVR. Edit- oops, already said on previous page. Admin can delete this post if needed...
  16. Flying through clouds?:music_whistling: OK, that was just a gentle troll, don't fire at me...
  17. Oh men! Have you seen this GBU-31 closely? It's a marvell! :surprise:
  18. Wanna bet? ;)
  19. Vu,... et répondu. Merci:thumbup:
  20. I think it is. Look at the picture below. Look at the little rocks on the ground. Looks like it's rendered with Dx11 tessellation. That reminds me a demo of the tessellation technology used in Crysis 1.
  21. Best thing I like about the A-10? All the A-10c and the way it is so accurately modeled in DCS World. I take pleasure just by flying it, just for a nav, or just for fun between mountains, AAR,...
  22. Jetman flies along with a B-17
  23. What is EDGE? All answers HERE To be short, it's a rendering engine that will replace the current one in DCS World. It's still in development. New sets of maps are developed in parallel to fit in (like the Nevada map). Is it real? Yes, it is. Here is an image from the last WIP (found in the official posts):
  24. I laughed after seeing the quote under Wags's signature: "Warning: Prolonged customer exposure to flights simulations may cause tourette syndrome."
  25. Yeah! That sure means that an SDK might be ready for scenaries, so that EDGE could come "soon". OK, I'm the kind to see positive!
