  1. Not sure I follow you (looooong day, sorry)... I'm loading the event handler in Mission Start already and S_EVENT_PLAYER_ENTER_UNIT is definitely not triggering when using player. I'm working on a generic script that loads a menu and perform some initializations based in the player/client unit which are used by other events (SHOT, hit, etc) ... Of course, manually launching that initialization on a Once trigger with a delay of second or two and using a tailored method for it would work for me. I still think that ED left a gap here... I really appreciated you taking the time to answer!
  2. So, you are saying that this behavior is WAD (Working As Designed)? If so, it leaves a huge gap in capability when starting as "player".

I have a simple event handler loaded in MISSION START / do script file to load a menu , using S_EVENT_PLAYER_ENTER_UNIT or S_EVENT_BIRTH (tested with both) If the mission contains only one flyable aircraft with its skill set to "Player", neither of those events triggers. If the skill is changed to "client" or if another flyable is added (as "player" or "client") everything works as it should. Is this a known issue? Any workaround to be able to use "player" with only one flyable a/c in the mission? Edit: test mission added... Just flip the su-25t skills between "player" and "client" and observe the events that trigger test.miz
  5. I'm experiencing a "residual" vibration after the G feeling effect in all fixed wing aircraft. The residual vibrations goes away if I pull g's again. Doesn't happens always and I have not been able to determine a pattern or trigger. I have a dead zone of -0.5 to 2.5g. OB 2.7.10 & SSAB 2.3.3.0 Setting example:
  6. OB 2.7.10 Oculus Quest 2 A,B,X,Y not responding to mapped commands They are properly mapped... And remapped then just in case Anybody else can confirm? ETA: Seems to happens only in the game menu. In cockpit, they work as intended.

  8. I took a QUICK look at the track in Tacview: (this is the first drop) Slant range (at drop) is 1.21 nm = 7352 feet... Impact is 62ft from the target. 1 MOA @ 7352 is about 735in = 61.25ft ... Unless, of course, I messed up somewhere! (Always possible!) What is the width (in MOA) of stadia mark of the F-18 HUD? One thing I'm doing as of late if to reduce the brightness of the HUD to get a better look at the targets...

  10. Thanks for the quick reply and for SSA! It is really a game changer! No unlimited ammo. Basic target practice for multiple aircraft in the Marianas. Single Player. Tested twice in different DCS sessions. All the other effects (that I've tried) in the A4 works, including dropping ordnance. Let me know what details you need and I'll provide and if there is any kind of log that you might need (I'm very new to SSA, have it only for 3 days )

  12. Just got mine installed.... Now to configure all the modules! Is there a place where "profiles" are shared? The 50% for everything is a little generic If not, my strategy is to pick 1 A/C and see what the different setting give me and stablish a generic base line...
  13. I suspect that you are in CCIP mode instead of CCIP Delayed mode. Do you see the horizontal line (no caffeine in the system yet, forgot its name, but it indicates that the actual impact point is outside of the HUD)? November 9th, 2021
  14. LOS issues? Target groups set as invisible? Try using a TOW Humvee or something with optics instead of the infantry to troubleshoot... Or share the mission Good luck!
  15. Was the Harrier armed? It needs weapons at mission start in order to see the JTACS....

  17. On the EB, hand controllers are grabbing the stick and throttle when the option is disabled in the VR options Almost caused an oppsss ... Haven't tried in the CC ETA: It is fine in the CC
  18. One "issue" with having two (or more) sets is when you have multiple flyable airplanes that use different coordinates systems in the same mission: we would either add all the sets or add the kneeboards to the planes, which would be a pain since you will have to add all the maps...

  23. Harrier and Hornet are also affected... I don't think this issue is module specific ... ED is aware, hopefully fixed for next patch... The silver lining (for me) is that I've been practicing using AWACS - Vector to Tanker to locate the tanker...
