  1. Most standard missions use>> eagle You can get around that by RE-CLASSIFYING the mission. CTRL_SHIFT-C will bring up a popup window that will ask you for a new password and then to confirm it by entering it agian in the 2nd field. Most people use>> eagle Now that you've set the new password - DE-classify the mission Look on the Edit Menu or CTRL-SHIFT D for the Declassify option. Enter the new password.
  2. When loading my 1.02 in 1.1, there weren't any loading errors. Is that what you're talking about? The missionpack had about 30 missions and no loading problems. Time, however, needs to be taken to watch the AI response. I was mainly ground-pounding so I didn't have to watch too many AI fighter flights and fights. I did spend a lot of time in the F10 Map view watch with a sped up(CTRL-A) missions replaying them. In one case I found that If I sent 2 Su-27 fighters on a generic Fighter-Sweep path vs 2 Helos and 2 F-15s, the Su-27s would be distracted by the much closer Helos and not be in good shape for the meeting the F-15s. But if I made a Attack Waypoint that targeted the F-15s, I got the optimal result. So watch the behaviour - I think it's more on-target than it used to be in 1.02, but the mission builder needs to test for Results.
  3. one thing to note about turning on the runways and rampa-areas is the very narrow wheel base for the Su-25T. Combine that with a very heavy payload and you're going to have trouble. I think it was one ting commented on by real-life SU-25T flyers. As for "takeoff stickiness" I just wait until I reach 340 kmh and it gracefully glides up by itself.
  4. That should be listed as a bug that we keep.
  5. I put a notice here as the main forum moves too fast. And am the 1st to post. Woohoo :icon_jook Su-25T Campaign - Hold Back the AEF For the Su-25T - an Allied Expeditionary Force, as part of operations in the Central Asia, is trying to gain control of the area west of Georgia. You are flying as the defenders(Russia + Ukraine) versus the Allies(USA, Turkey, Georgia). It's a smaller campaign but it has its difficulties. The hot fighter aces of Ukraine, the Buba Boys, will make their re-appearance but on your side. So you should have friendly skies. It currently is at version 1.01. I had to fix an error in Mission 7. Currently 90+ downloads. You can download it at the following sites Download @ LOMACFiles - Thanks Thomas, Merlin and the rest View @ Combat Aces - Thanks CombatAces Su-25T MissionPack - Struggle in Crimea 27+ linked missions for those who fly the Su-25T to provide extra content for the Flaming Cliffs add-on. 6. It's in the 1st mission briefing and it's gilliguck And I think you can change labels mid-flight Shift-F2 - Aircraft labels toggle Shift-F9 - Ships and ground units labels toggle Shift-F10 - Object labels toggle Enjoy!
  7. There's lots of noise in those 30 pages. I'd say 10 to 15% are real bug discussions. 3 to 4 pages from all the stuff I've read. To sum up: There are miscellaneous smaller bugs and serious re-working has to be done for the missiles and all the connected missile issues:burn-through, acquisition, and angle FOV problems. Simple answer: A portion of those pages are for real bugs Sorry, will be fixed in the future __________________ Чистого неба! Han, 120 =ЦПВЛ=. Eagle Dynamics. The bug is in IFF on jamming strobe __________________ Чистого неба! Han, 120 =ЦПВЛ=. Eagle Dynamics. A portion of those pages are for features that people think are bugs i.e. Quote: This not a bug, well it is sort of. When you do a crash recovery your throttle position doesn't change! So you start the engines and it gets flooded with fuel and it doesn't work. Sometimes it will even start a small fire just like the docs said lol (nice touch). So Remember to reset your throttle after doing a crash recovery. A portion is people yapping back and forth about expected results Make sure the Patriot Track Radar is pointed in the general direction of the threat. It is not a 360 degree radar. I will be testing SAMS and such in a while, but thought I would see if you took this into consideration. They're working. Just watched one take out an Su-33. As Dusty says, make sure the radar is facing the expected threat axis. It doesn't rotate to provide 360 degree coverage. Rich A portion is the programmers responding To see padlocking target data in the status bar set ShowTargetInfo = true in the Config/View/Server.lua file. 9. I think the only measures that count are: # of posts, when joined, and whether you're a moderator, beta-tester or on the Dev team. The rest, like a ranking system (jedi or padawan or commander or ensign or sgt.) just messes things about. Especially when the board has errors.
  10. It's on the Briefing Screen(hit the Briefing Button or CTRL-B or from the Flight Menu) Look for the START field. It is likely to have 001 / 12 : 00 It's just above Edit Description and below BLUE
  11. I found an error in Mission 7 and updated it to Version 1.01. You can Download @ LOMACFiles For those too deep into the campaign, check My Missions Page for the Continuation of the campaign.

  13. If the add-on was just an AFM for a plane that's already included, it'd be considered a patch. A patch you'd love but wouldn't add any new interest. We had this earlier debate about what makes an add-on and adding the combo of new aircraft+AFM would fit the minimum requirements not just an AFM. And when it comes to on-line play, exactly how screwed up would it be to have a non-AFM versus an AFM fighter. We've enough problems now with re-working the F-15, nobody would want to fly it against an AFM'ed Su-27. This would damage the on-line play with people not wanting to play the "loser" plane.
  14. My educated guess a.k.a. rampant speculation Very Good Probability to get a patch to 1.1 A 2nd Add-on(1.2) would be very strong in the Russian market and they'd issue a version to the West. And then go onto the next franchise. OR A 2nd Add-on(1.2) would be very strong in the Russian market. We might have a russian only add-on. For the West, the 1.2 work would be folded into the next franchise.
  15. One of the beta testers said he cannot SAY if there is going to be a patch. He cannot actually SAY to the public. But he was 95% sure it was going to happen. But remember he cannot actually SAY. I've seen Han, a programmer I think, in the Bug List thread responding about and testing bugs and so-called bugs. So I think so.
  16. For this campaign and LOMAC's standard campaigns the password is eagle Mission classified? =============== Is the mission classified? If you do have the password, look on the Edit Menu or CTRL-SHIFT D for the Declassify option. Enter the new password. If you do not have the password, you can get around that by RE-CLASSIFYING the mission. CTRL_SHIFT-C will bring up a popup window that will ask you for a new password and then to confirm it by entering it agian in the 2nd field. 17. In 1.02 with Classified missions you could swap in Payloads to re-do a mission or just to play with the weapons. In FC1.1 you cannot change the Payload in Classified missions Is this a bug, an oversight, or just the planned way it's supposed to be?
  18. I wouldn't use the 1.02 Su-25 to evaluate the SU-25T - it's a totally different, open environment. More like the A-10 except some area's are better and other areas just different but connected.
  19. Anyway you can do a track for that so that the devs have something to look at?
  20. I wish they had set up a separate manual for the Mission Editor rather than including it in the LO FC QUICK START MANUAL 1.1 pdf file. That's too hidden.
  21. Yes, I do get your point and agree with you. If you read after the EDIT:, I said I had that problem except with SHIFT rather than ALT. I just think I think ALT(the way it is used by most) is safer than SHIFT. Hence my  when a whole system shut down. But both have their problems so it's not just one key. But that does bring up the question about holding down the key continuously is sometimes necessary and how to handle it. KEYPAD-INSERT is used and at the same time, operating flaps and gear. Making it more clear we need to reduce it to its essentials To be more specific: A solution would be that if Shift/ALT/Ctrl is pressed in combination with a KEY_OF_INTEREST, the KEY_OF_INTEREST would be flagged to not be allowed to activate until a number of seconds has elapsed or until the KEY_OF_INTEREST is lifted. e.g ALT-1 is pressed and the user releases ALT but still has his finger on 1. In the initial ALT-1 key-press, 1 is flagged in the keystroke system as a KEY_OF_INTEREST. The user cannot affect any 1 system until he lifts the key. When he lefts the key, a message is sent to the keystroke system telling it that it can be used for other purposes. I would disagree with you that a "majority suffer "accidental" triggering " but if this could be added, it would be an interface improvement.
  22. Soory, VVanks but it's not likely to be true. Follow this discussion at SimHQ with comments by Jason @ Naturalpoint. It will give the full picture It boils down to EB people not knowing the difference between 1.02 and Flaming Cliffs and therefore using FC web-material from ED's site. ED's too busy trying to put together a working online distribution system to earn real money rather than chasing after one retailer's goof. It's likely 1.02. Read for yourself the debate.
  23. That really depends on the method in which the majority of use the Alt key. I hit ALT first with my thumb, hold it down, and then I search for the other key with my index finger. I then tap and hold the other key and then release the other key. This has certainly been the case for me for LOMAC in the months I've been flying - even more now either the FC1.1 auto-pilot modes. The crucial point is - does my method represent the majority of users? If that is the case, it's good to warn people to use that method. We already train them to use keys in so many different ways. EDIT: After reviewing my key use, I remember that I have that problem with the Shkval/Laser Designator. Sometimes I go to turn the Laser on but then I with Shift-O but then hit O accidentally which  turns off my Shval and requires me to turn it on, re-acquire and lock-on and then turn the designator again. I think with ALT at the bottom of the keyboard and having to stretch up, the current method is reasonable. But with SHIFT it might be a different case because it's not at the bottom of the keyboard.
  24. He wanted to know the difference between noise in the cockpit and outside the cockpit in the sound model. That demonstrates it clearly. In air ONLY; it is cooler hearing the missiles fire.
  25. I've found this method so that you get the full sound-surround while in the cockpit: 1) Get into NAV mode 2) Centre your cockpit view 3) Hit F2 for an external view - 4) Zoom in closer on the cockpit 5) Hit Ctrl-C - I've tested it with all the planes. 6) Hit F1 for the Cockpit view Step 5 will show that it is a feature and not a bug Thank you. 7) Add Rep points over on the left
