I'm supposed to have a key for the BF-109 after supporting the kickstarter initiative for DCS WW2, but when I go to the product page it tells me "You don't have any serial numbers for this product.". Is there a process I need to follow? It seems to me that when the Fw-190 came out I was able to just grab the key from it's product page.

Looks like by carefully keeping my climb speed around 170 km/h, I can just keep up with the flight. It's all about careful flying. This has to be the hardest mission so far!

After taking on troops in this mission, my heli is so loaded down that I don't have enough power to keep up with my flight when crossing the mountains. As a result I fall so far behind that the mission fails. Can someone offer advice? I can barely make it over the mountains while maintaining 150 km/h. :(

I tried once more and managed to complete the mission without a crash. Not sure what happened but seems I can progress now.

This happened to me twice in a row. Spring Tension campaign, Mission 6 - Alert. I successfully pick up the stranded pilot and take off. Then the other chopper reports he is ready to RTB, then the game freezes and eventually crashes. Both times, upon returning to the menu GUI I get the message "Cannot open debriefing file". I was really enjoying this campaign. Hope I can finish it!

When I land at the last drop-off waypoint on the mountain top, I get the message "Unload, chief". After that, nothing happens for several minutes. Eventually I try my luck and fly back to home base, but do not get Mission Success. I seem to be missing a trigger, how have others gotten past this mission?

Good idea, that will help too. So now that I can navigate, I cannot get past Mission 2. :( I make my last drop-off at the mountain top outpost, and the script says "Unload chief". After several minutes, nothing happens so I fly back to base, but the mission fails. Somehow I missed a trigger, but it's not clear which one. UPDATE: after a few tries I was able to complete the mission.

I don't think so, not out of the box. You can probably edit the mission files yourself and change the player chopper to the UH-1, but I've never played around with mission files.

I would love to be able to do that. Without an English manual, are there any online tutorials to instruct me on this? This gives a good overview but it's not clear how to set the instrument. http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.ca/2013/10/dcs-mi-8mtv2-magnificent-8-basic_29.html I can manage some navigation comparing the briefing map to the terrain, but the map has so much clutter and cannot be zoomed, so it's nearly impossible.

Hope to finish tutorials and start this campaign on the weekend. How is navigation done? Do I need to know ADF and Doppler navigation?

It's amazing to see so many third party projects well under way (and even some close to release). I remember when there was just the Black Shark, and whispers and hope were floating around about the A-10. Let the good times roll!
