This happened to me 2 out of 3 times I tested Mission 1. Not clear what the relevant sequence of events are.

SSA works great! I've only tried A-10C but so far I don't even need to mix the game audio into my Buttkicker. SSA does all the work. :)

I have a very strange problem in Mission 1, when anchoring at one of the waypoints my pilot asks for tasking. I can hear my pilot request the 9 Line and comments, and he also reads them back, but I don't actually hear the JTAC reading out the 9-line. It's like watching a one-sided conversation. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there something I'm doing wrong with radios? UPDATE: Works now, think I was speaking into the AM radio instead of the FM radio. Mission 1 complete! :)

Those things are surprisingly hard to get hold of! It took me about two months to get a ButtKicker Gamer last year.

1.5 uses same graphics engine as 2.0. However, 2.0 will support new terrain which will certainly look better than the old terrain included in 1.5.

I'm probably the only one that went back to a monitor, only because my PC can't get the necessary FPS to drive VR. But now that I'm know what I'm missing, it's just not as fun as it used to be. :)

So once the two versions are finally merged, will we be able to play all 2.0 (i.e. Red Flag) and 1.5 (i.e. Republic) campaigns in version 2.5? Or will they be broken?

With more users getting Oculus Rift, there's bound to be used Track IR's going up for sale in the near future. Bottom line is you must have one or the other. :)

Is anyone driving Oculus Rift with an RX 480 in DCS? What kind of results are you getting?

I paid good money for Track IR and I would do it again. For me it's as essential as a joystick. It's well made, no hassle, and feels so natural you don't even think about it while you're using it.

I need that number for SA as well, hope they have a Canada chapter. It's gotten so bad, it feels like when I'm flying one module I'm cheating on all the rest!! Ka-50, you vile temptress, you. The worst is, if you're away from an aircraft for too long, you need to go through training and familiarization again.
