After my CH pedals gave out I got the Saitek proflight combat pedals (#2 above). They are so much better than CH pedals I would never go back! Your feet are placed further apart from one another. You push the pedals with the arch of your foot while a slight push with the ball of your foot works the toe breaks. Compared to CH, these pedals are far more comfortable and natural to use, I highly recommend them. I still love my CH stick and throttle; together with the Saitek pedals they make a great system and you can really forget about the controls and just "fly", if you know what I mean.

The more I read, the less enthused I am. Guess the good old TrackIR will be sticking around on my monitor for another year or so. ;)

27" seems to be the sweet spot for a desktop gaming monitor. I have a 27" 1080p AOC LED monitor and really like it. Bigger would be uncomfortable and smaller would be.... smaller!

Playing the Stillness in Time campaign and I would really enjoy it, IF it would stop giving me the same mission over again. It seems if I complete a mission successfully I move onto a new one, but if not I get the Last Drops mission, even though I've completed it several times! What exactly is happening here and how can I get around it?

It's a good idea to put this into a module manager, otherwise you'll lose the change each time DCS world is updated.

That makes sense, and would explain what I've been seeing.

I have the same problem... but only in Cold Start missions. If the mission starts mid-air, then the chute will work when I land. I thought it was I wasn't resetting the gear lever to neutral after take-off, but that wasn't the case. Are there any other prerequisites for the chute to deploy?

The Hint_localizer.lua file is not present after the 1.5 update. Has anyone been able to get this to work lately?

Great job getting the update out! I noticed all my campaign progress has been reset after the update. Is there any way to correct this?
