I have seen similar post to if I'm on the atc tab and go to another I can not get back to it. I have tried tower...page traffic and such. I also did the keybind in voice attack but same problem once I tab to another page it skips it as I scroll through them. And as always thanks for any help J

Just got vaicom installed to day really like it but I'm having a problem with radio comms. When I take off from an airfield and using vaicaom for taxi and takeoff work great. Once airborn and on the way to the carrier I change radio freq and call inbound for carrier. It keeps calling back to the airfield and it does it the other way around . I have a mission where I start in flight between the carrier and air field if I call the carrier first for in bound it will not let me call the airfield even if i put in the airfield freq. I have canceled inbound resume mission and stay stucks on who ever I talk to first. I have easy comms off and I think I also have it off for vaicom. comm 1 and 2 works great with everything else. Voice attack is showing the correct commands. plus I did the test and finish and updated voice attack Thanks for any help J

Here is my tanker msn nothing special kc135mprs. when you spawn into the jet the tanker will be at your 2 oclock in a left hand turn. I cant remember how long the racetrack is if you need it longer just stretch out one of the waypoints for the tanker. I had a hard time getting the hang of it about the time I get the throttle under control I'd get out of wack with the stick and vice versa. J F18 REFUEL.miz

I'm using a Kuject usb 3.0 -usb c . This cable has a built in charger unit that will charge while you play. Got it off amazon

I had a backseat ride in our Block30 F16c years ago. Got about a 1.5 hours of stick time after a few minutes of flying and getting the feel of the jet response from stick input it was really smooth flying more or less point and shoot. One thing I can say 9g's is tough I think we pulled it 3 times pilot did it twice and I done it once. Somewhere in my house I have pictures of doing pop up bomb runs on my parents house. Our last 9g turn was about 800feet up above their house and my inlaws it got the neibors cows stirred up. J

F18: 45 seems about right for me in relation to my controllers and viewing the hud and mfds. I did have to fine tune my head camera view just a touch

Low end rig here also with a 1070 and a quest 2 good cockpit and smooth fps sp and mp might get a small stutter here and there on MP but not enough to ruin game play . Just now upgraded to a 3060 this week and a used reverb g2 which bumped up my fps. Was wanting the Gpu more than the G2 but the price was right 130 bucks just for the headset. Had everything setup in about a day of trial and error testing settings. If its running smooth and I can read the mfd's then I'm good to go. I'm to the point i could care less what FPS are or if the gpu or cpu spiking up and down. I'm just enjoying the sim now J

No that is not it or at least I never could get it to work with my quest2 .Go back one page where you started this post and goto to page one of this topic "OpenXR Guide for WMR Headsets" I did steps 1-5 its got the links for downloads. After you get that installed and when you start the oculus program there will be a message on top stateing your not using oculus runtime ignore it. For the toolkit do a google search for oculus tray tool https://www.apollyonvr.com/oculus-tray-tool that is the program that I posted images of. When you do the changes in traytool hit save and restart sometimes it will come up with msg say that it cant restart or close something just hit save and restart again and it should go and then it will restart the oculus program. For dcs I boot up the headset then start traytool once it up minimize it then fire up airlink and then dcs. My traytool setting are what I use for airlink have no idea if their good or bad with the link cable. Also to the experts here and not to hijack this thread if there anything I could be doing to squeeze out any performance or improvement please give me your thoughts thank you J

I'm fairly new to the VR side of thing but I have a low end sytem for DCS t3600 workstatition xeon 3.2GB 32GB ram,SSD drives and a 8gb 1070 and I'm running a quest2 using the openxr runtime with the oculus traytool. SP mission I'm getting around 35-40 and MP 20-35 using airlink. Even though its low frame rates my dcs is smooth granted I had to back off some of the graphics settings for my system. I'm flying the hornet and can read everything just fine. I have my quest at 90H 1.0 and in DCS vr page set to .5. and my tool tray settings. When using airlink for me 0 on both bitrates got me the best gameplay. I hope you get it figured but I thought I would post my settings if it might help down the road J

Same here it fit my budget luckily my wife has a fake book acct and I logged it in there. I did just purchase a used reverb g2 ver 1 from ebay for $130 from a electronics store"electronicsisters" out or Texas I believe. It was just the headset with strap no cable or face gasket. A few scuffs on the outside but lenses were scratchfree and clear. Plus a 30day return shipping on me. Last I looked they had 6 or 7 left Headset cable and facegasket I'm in at around $280. So far they have been working fine I've messed around a little bit with DCS but I"m waiting for a new video card for my old computer going from a 1070 to a 3060. I can only run 1/2 resolution right now J

I got it figured out when I first tried the G2 I didn't have openxr and composite installed. I now start the G2 then DCS. Oculus still starts but just close the window and all is good.

Bought a Reverb G2 used and got it installed. I open the windows MRP and start DCS but then the Oculus software starts up. I uninstalled the oculus for right now. Is there a way to have them both installed and be able to use them for different stuff Thanks J

Mike I have the same stick and for me learning to A2A refuel I had to add a pretty high curve at first. What felt like a small stick movement in my mind was a big movement on the 18. As I got better feel for everything I backed them down. J

Just got them yesterday all I can say is WOW. Had Saitek for years until they died bought a set of the cheaper thrust master but decided to upgrade after about a year with them. These are version 3 with the standard foot rest. Easy to assemble and set up on the computer. J

I'm running my Quest 2 with oculus tray tool and sidequest. I'm powering on the headset then side quest and then tooltray. Wasnt sure if there was a specific order so everything works right

I'm running VR with a quest2t on a PNY 1070 8g plus I'm on a low end pc and I had to back off some of the graphics but its playable for me sp and mp. Multiplayer i get a little stutter/skip if I look down at the ground but not enough in my opinion to ruin game play.

I ordered mine(Orion 1) last Christmas/New Year and I'm thinking 3 1/2 weeks was what it took to get to me here in Illinois j

For me I find the S3 a little more touchy to stay in the basket. The KC130 and KC135 a little more forgiving. With those two, once I'm in the basket I push in and crowd the pod some. Gives me a little more wiggle room fore and aft. With the S3 if I push in to far I disconnect real easy J

Thanks for taking a look at it. I knew that my load out wasn't realistic but I'm still surprised that the radar won't pick him up further out not for a shot or anything. With him being at a higher and having the advantage of altitude and me looking up. I assumed he would show within a few sweeps of the radar. Thanks again

Yes so much easier. The sense of depth makes a huge difference.

I made up a training mission for BVR practice 1 SU27 about 60 miles out nose hot. I have no radar contact till about 30 . I have experimented with different bar scans, azimuth, and the high med/intrlv. Ant elevation is fine. I have even gone to the f10 map to get alt and distance from me to fine tune my inputs. Is this just the way it is or am I missing something. I'll post a trackfile and the miz. I have this on invulnerable just for training Thanks TC BVRSU27.trk SU27 BVR.miz
