This thread is intended to give VR newcomers a little orientation as to what the best IPD setting is for the respective aircraft. Getting into VR is confusing enough and this will at least give you an idea of the right size ratio for your aircraft. For some reason I don't understand, almost every aircraft is optimised to a different value. My settings are: F14: 61 F16: 55

I just hope the DCS engine doesn't make it too hard for them. I'm afraid the engines they have worked with so far have been much more modern and flexible. But nevertheless I am very happy about the announcement.

Hey guys, well we know that we don't get any info until the official announcement just before release. So let's debate a little about what our hopes and wishes are for the module. Maybe one or the other will be adopted I would like to see the simulation of IFF (as in the JF-17) as well as the complex simulation of the avionics systems and the influence of environmental effects such as icing or canopy fogging. I would also like to see complex radar (I think the Mirage set a new standard here) and engine simulation. Personally, I would not need as much non-aircraft content as in the F14 (Forrestal, A-6, etc.). Rather more love and details for the aircraft itself. For example, a generator for the external air/power supply would be very cool (like it exists for the C-101). I hope that there will be many of these small and larger details. So guys, let's hear what you would like to see.

In this case, it is not quite so simple. In the "real" head position, the HUD displays are rendered incorrectly. They are only displayed correctly for the "low" position.

I am already very excited about the pilot body. I wonder if it might be a bit confusing in VR, since the camera sits a bit lower than the actual head position.

If the wings are not completely horizontal, there will be an abrupt downward movement when the GT mode is activated in conjunction with ALT HLD. Hmm, there may not be a way to get fuel into the tanks (wings and ext) but the option of which tanks to take fuel from. It is possible to choose whether fuel is taken from the central or external tanks first. So maybe also from which side?? That would be enough to compensate for an imbalance. Otherwise, I honestly don't see the point of the switch.

A 27 4k monitor has round about 105 ppd. The ppd of a G2 is between a 1280x720p and 640x480 resolution. Also a 30 ppd is far away from 1080p

If you activate the ALT HLD or GT mode separately, the AP works fine, but if you activate the GT mode and the ALT HLD mode at the same time, there is a significant oscillation up and down. Similar before the revision of the autopilot. At the same time, I would like to thank you here for the excellent work of the AP.
