1) it is the EWRS script...search for it here on the forum 2) there is a program called voice attack where you can achieve this. A very nice profile/addon for it is VAICOMM pro (both are payware but totally worth it).

Onestamente te lo sconsiglierei....pc molto potenti non riescono a far girare dcs in vr con i risultati sperati ... il tuo purtroppo è abbastanza datato
-
About this I also found that setting vsync to fast in nvidia control panel helps with VR regardless of the dcs setting

You cannot know for sure..... Or maybe back then when the fastest GPU was the 2080ti they just didn't feel right to set 200% as the "default" 100%...also if I remember that the first version had 188% as the defautl. You should also notice that the g2 has similar lenses to the index...and for the index native res is 54% exactly like you guys are writing about the G2.

I received mine last Monday...still finishing to set it up properly...but with their 20cm curved extension it is really something. It just does a strange sound (like metallic parts colliding) only when I move left... I am going to post that on the Virpil forum to see if it is normal or not.

What setting have u got?: Cockpit size setting using IPD
VirusAM replied to Brainfreeze's topic in Virtual Reality
The dcs setting for ipd has not to be set to your physical IPD. In reality the setting name is a little bit misleading, it should be world scale. It is your “virtual head” IPD. You should set it to whatever setting gives you realistic proportions. Take your virtual pilot, or your aircraft stick for reference. -
Because the lenses of the g2 are different. The resolution for 1/1 ratio of the pixel is calculated using math...it is not something improvised. Usually it is 1.4 pixel density (or 200% supersampling which is the same thing) For the quest2 for example the pixel density for 1/1 ratio at the center of the display is 1.7

DCS and the Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor
VirusAM replied to Razorback's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
everything seems correct to me, including the ratio in your screenshot... Anyway I am really hyped for this monitor... 5120/1440 = 3,555555555555556 So I can confirm that this should be the correct setting -
DCS and the Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor
VirusAM replied to Razorback's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Are you sure to be using the correct aspect ratio? In the DCS settings menu you can select the aspect ratio. I have used a 49" monitor in the past, and i remember that everything was spectacular...and no aspect ratio issues that i remember of -

I will follow this post. Why do you say it is out of proportion? What is tricky with the track-ir? -
Combat panels available now....nothing on the take off ones.

The Hornet hotas changed some of its functionality in the latest months. Cage/uncage doesn’t boresight the pod anymore (it activates lst). You just need to undesignate to center it. About the slew, I don’t understand what you mean...if you don’t have the tdc slew bound to a joystick button or an axis it is pretty normal that it doesn’t move... So try to clarify this :)
-
Damn it.....again out of stock now From where do you launch it? I thought of something like that but I don’t have an always on computer or server to host it. Could you share it with me? Thanks

I have the same issue...sometimes with higher resolutions also if the fps are in the range for good ASW usage then the lateral head movement are very strange and jittery. I did already put vsync to fast in nvidia control panel
-
Does anyone knows when the panels will be available again for order?
-
Guys, I may have found a workaround.... For those with a Nvidia GPU...in the nvidia control panel set vsync to fast. This way I don't have any fps loss...for now I tried only in 2d...later i will try using VR.

Tapatalk is working for me

Using 2 computers For Better Performance???
VirusAM replied to Kenpilot's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
There is some post regarding the use of one computer as a server...now with the dedicated server and ED that allowed us to use modules on the server without buying them again, it could be feasible without spending money. It is an old concept, I remember doing that with the old falcon4 hosting the campaign on a server. Only problem is that you cannot progress jn a campaign this way
