Am i the only one who they made wait for the counterbalance ? they told me the counter balance would arrive later, but I didnt think they would send it to others.

received mine a week ago. finally installed in my simpit. its very cool. the huge throw helps with precision flying for your. The arm , on top of that the rotor VPC offers is quite long though.. A dedicated shorter arm collective base would be better in my opinion

dang, I bought some dual lock (didnt know it before) and that <profanity> is awesome. I work in the town in which velcro was invented, but this is definately a step forward. there is NO play like in velcro. its rock solid! its soooo good i would considering it for swapping my center stick as well. So basically I screwed an aluminum/polymer sheet to my wooden cockpit (aker barnes) side console, and than taped bands of dual lock transversally to it. then I put a square inch on each corner of each of my throttle bases, and it worked like a charm ! totally awesome ! thanks for the tip !

I own a few Orion1 and Orion2 throttle bases. I like alternating them in my cockpit depending on the plane I fly. that being said, using the screw isnt the fastest way to do it. has somebody though of a method or system for quick attachement already ?

I just received mine. Happy with everything BUT the ANT ELEV knob. while the center is there, it doesnt turn smoothly. its like grippy, and doesnt have a smooth rotation. I dont really know how to fix that.

how difficult would you rate the dissassembly et re assembly of this ?

I have 2 orion base.. Orion 1 and Orion 2 they are perfect in Orion 1. loose in Orion 2. I will soon be receiving an Orion2 anniversary. I will tell you how this one is

I initially owned the original Orion1 grip with hornet throttle. I recently ordered the F-15E grips on a orion2 base... I like it, but only for the F-15E I also ordered the F-15EX grips on a Orion 2 anniversary base... Can i for example put the Hornet grips on the Orion2 anniversary base instead ? and maybe use the EX grips on the Orion2 base ? what about the f-15e GRIPS on a Orion1 base ? Are they all compatible ?

damn will buy as well. especially given my hook doesnt work anymore do they plan a combat panel too as well ? because I cant replace my current take off with just that. its a completely different layout nice to have the flaps status as well. the 2 missing axis is disappointing though just bought an orion2 standard + F-15E (everything was in stock) as well. will be able to compare E to EX... still not sure which one i'll prefer

i am currently flying the F-15E with a WW orion/hornet combo. and a virpil/thrustmaster F-18Stick combo. one 5 way hat and boat switch is clearly missing from the throttles , but you can affect this to your stick instead. But of course its less than ideal. Thats why I ordered EX handles and orion2 .... but to be honest, the F-15E is still not finished enough for me to spend MUCH time on it yet

what is it in 'VERY COOL' that you dont understand ? I am happy they finally released it. but when I see that some very minute details have made it to the release, but something basic like MFDs exports hasnt, I simply state its a let down, which it is. having a cockpit not having mfd's to play with already is disapointing

it would be great to have exports for the pilot already...

i was complaining when it didnt come out. I certainly won't complain that it did.. Those missing MFD exports though...
