I haven’t seen groove charts either, can only tell you that with the Airboss Script you get a “long groove time” rating if it’s above 60sec (iirc) - and I hope/ assumed that was entered by people that had some sources Same here, 14 sec breaks for separation during boat ops is SOP

LHA Tarawa lighting is extremely bright Runway "green" lights are illuminating the carrier not only to very unrealistic levels, but also causing a tremendous FPS / performance impacts. Performance during day & night a clearly different and caused by lighting. Requesting a review of lighting levels ( could be easy fix as dimming it down) to make it: a) more performant b) more realistic. c) closer in line with the "dark" lighting mood on other carrier assets. Realistic examples: (same video- different time stamps! )

Thank you, everyone that answered! I am actually coming from a reverb G2. And that was an easy plug and play, and had everything I needed included in the package. It just seems that the pimax is a bit more complex setting up, but I hope that the additional field of view is worth it. I got a decent priced 8K plus the other day, coming in at around €620 including one controller. I just bought one base station for €80, as I definitely need the full six planes of motion.

quick question - I'd only use the pimax for DCS; is one controller enough for the setup of the headset together with one lighthouse base station? or do I need 2 of each?

Team- im getting somewhere. Just the mini switches to solder and I can mount. here’s another question for best practices though - I‘ve been using m3x12 for the „button“ matrix - but they don’t really „bite“ into the plastic. many advice or ways you solved this?

radio comms , tarawa deck lighting and harrier ball seem to be bugs , probably also internally reported , but with the grey area around comms and Tarawa..and other projects, there doesnt seem to be movement

complete noob question ; the buttons have two prongs per side ; the switches have three ; are there any tutorials or guides on how to best solder them and make sure they function properly ? first time Im doing it

Oh man - all my text got deleted. So here’s another attempt: im thinking about taking the plunge and will strive to get the same end result as above. Printing is “straight forward” my issue are the knobs / buttons / rotary switches and switches. what size are these ? What am I looking for specs wise? Is there a resource to study to find this out and not buy the wrong stuff? thanks

Did you get any progress? I find that super interesting as I wanted to dip my toe into building something similar but lack the skills at CAD / modeling to pull it off

Recently my Castle Switch has started acting up. it would be soft/non click/ non registering to the left; after pressing right a couple of times it would be "active" again. Has anyone ever replaced a castle switch or even know where / how to get the parts? Unfortunately google hasnt delivered for me - and the stick is out of warranty Thanks
