Is there any updated "Vaicom AiRio Kneeboard Cheat Sheet" from @SpeedyE420 with new commands?

I am feed up from this crashing issue. Every time, or every couple times, I re-spawn with the Tomcat , DCS freezes. I personally cannot have fun with this module when I spend so much time dealing with crashes. Multiplayer is impossible and embarrassing when flying with other people, specially when they used other modules without any issue. I would expect this bug to get TOP priority above anything else, it is impossible to enjoy the Tomcat like this, at least for me. After all the hours I have put into learning the module, switching to another module at this point feels depressing.

How could anyone use the Tomcat in a tournament? It crashes the game every couple of respawns… this bug alone, makes it almost impossible.

I think this issue is known but I don't think it has enough visibility for ED, sadly. I was hoping today's hotfix to contain at least some fix for the tomcat, either the over sweep wings bug (the carrier deck looks like a Stars wars movie if you have Tomcats there) or some stability patch for the crashes, but seems like this can take many months. My frustration comes when I try to fly online with other people and we are constantly crashing in cascade after a respawn, it doesn't happens every time, but for every 3 respawns you surely will crash at least once, nobody want to fly the tomcat now and that makes me sad. Hopefully we dont have to wait until the next big HB patch to see this issue alleviated, at least. Looking forward to hear some good news.

If you don't have DCS installed in "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)" you will have to exclude the Windows Antivirus from scanning the location where DCS is installed. After that, you will go back to normal starting times. Same thing happened to me. Good luck

Crashing when respawning the Tomcat in multiplayer must be the most annoying thing ATM. Can we hope for some stability in the near future?

It is really disappointing, I always wanted you to make a Tomcat campaign in Syria or Persia but from now I will refrain from asking about Syria... Ironically I think Syria map is the best...

Working for me, did you try cycling the mic switch? (inside the cockpit) That always works for me. GO from cold to hot to cold to hot. Or from hot to cold to hot again. Vaicom is tough to configure the 1st time but once you got everything, works perfectly.

Exactly, crashes dont produce logs dump in this case...

I experienced this so many times to count, yesterday too, after updating to the last open beta... Hopefully, it gets fixed soon.

I just tried a case 1 and case 3, WOW, the new burble made things so much more interesting, hell of a ride! Millions thanks! . I gotta try breaking that Hook! PD: I am having problems with proper carrier communications, after I declare "platform", I stop getting comms...just silence. For example, during a case 3, I don't get the "3/4 mile ball call" anymore. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? It was working fine before. Working fine now, maybe it is now required to have the external lights on for the LSO to give instructions, or I dunno. my fault.

Thanks @IronMike for fixing it, since I am going to be training landings on carriers for a long time now (specially with the new Physics spices) this is god sent.

@Convexrook I have the same issue. Is there an approximate date for an update now that 2.7.1 seems more stable?

I though the issue was fixed but I started getting crashes back on second mission load. I repaired the game (slow method) and deleted the FXO folder, but still crashes (less than before but sometimes crashes) Also, now, crash logs and dumps are never created. Pd: I was flying the Tomcat

@IronMike Syria quick missions still have incorrect Tacans for the case recoveries. It wasnt fixed. Briefing docs says X71 and Jester also uses that info. Correct Tacan for that set of missions would be x74 (for the Roosevelt Carrrier). I wonder how much people lost their mind as I did, wondering why the Tacan was suddenly not working...

I have been testing for a couple hours with the Tomcat, not a single crash on multiple mission reloads and exits

I get two kind of crashes now, sometimes crash on second load mission and sometimes crash on exit.
