  1. Not with deferred shading on the don’t.
  2. The real A-10 requires a lot of trim, personally it doesn’t seem any different to me recently.
  3. You do realize that UsAF KC-135s have an adaptor that can be put on the boom? Doesn’t need anything to fancy and probably a much quicker update to the current model than having to add wing pods.
  4. Manual Reversion was so bad, and windmilling engines produced to much hydraulic pressure (Big cough cough) that I haven’t tried Manual Reversion in forever. Need to test the windmilling engine hydraulics issue and man rev to see how it is now.
  5. ??? The emergency procedure is for electrical (generator) failure. Not sure why you’re confusing hydraulic pump and electrical generator.
  6. We do load it on 10, that’s what I said above.
  7. The APU can only operate one system at a time and has to be manually selected (left or right) by a handle. The handle can only be accessed through a panel near the APU.
  8. Good to know it’s still planned.
  9. Ciribob...I know at one time you talked about modeling HAVE QUICK, is that still planned?
  10. I gotta admit, originally I didn't care about the updates to the old map but I'm actually really looking forward to it now. Personally more so than SoH because it isn't another desert. Looking good ED, hope we have it on our PCs soon!!
  11. We created our own 11-250 so all the info in the 476 version is completely accurate to what is modeled in DCS. That being said it’s not publically released.
  12. Works for me, although I installed into my saved games DCS folder.
  13. My opinion is based on details that aren't public knowledge about A-10 system capabilities as well as discussions with pilots and actually military analysts and experts, not just because I work A-10s. I didn't once say the A-10 wouldn't have huge losses I'm saying in a war with a near-peer advisary every asset in our inventory would be used to include the A-10 and tactics would be used based on that threat. What we are currently doing in Syria and Iraq wouldn't work because of the A-10s limitations.
  14. Actually in an earlier post someone did (post 12 for one), and I can promise we wouldn't be grounded. I love when people who have never served think they know exactly what would happen in a conflict. Conflict with russia or China would have hug losses for all aircraft. The expected loss rate of the A-10 was always high, nature of the beast.
  15. Comparing A-10 operations and tactics over Syria and iraq the last couple years to how it would be used against China or Russia is pointless. Two completely different operations. I can tell you our pilots do a lot more low altitude training than high altitude flying in a circle looking through the straw that is the TGP.
  16. I can take pictures of what our current flightline expediter trucks look like as well as the tow bar and Coleman. I'd also like to see a jammer with an open mav casket to simulate loading operations.
  17. The official investigation is ongoing everything talked about above is pure speculation.
  18. Probably because suite 7 introduced HMCS and removed the pave penny. Other that that most wouldn't know what suite 8 introduced.
  19. Where did you get this info because it isn't correect. The AIM-9X isn't carried by the A-10 and all A-10Cs have HMCS (not JHMQS).
  20. This type of failure, to this extreme, is very rare.
