I created a fast mission, random weather, random time, wingmen are JF-17 against some mig29, one set to veteran, the other ace. I set them up with 4xSD-10 while I had the UG-90 (which didnt fire). I was watching my wingmen trying to take out mig29, and their missiles missed by about 4 meters each time, even when a mig29 was flying straight at it. Another time there was a friendly in the area, the JF-17 fires the SD-10 and misses the friendly, and also misses the mig29 that it was firing at, the mig29 was showing its floorplan, so it's not like the missile couldn't see the target - it just went about 4 meters to the side. This was at a range of about 8nm, and the mig29 wasn't pulling so hard it would be impossible to hit, it was a good shot each time. I'm guessing the wind had an effect on the missile? Does the missile have GPS yet?

I believe he said it was because the mounting holes wouldn't line up, but he would check with SME.

this patch has been pretty awful, I'd say go back to stable, because this isn't it.

their rockets aren't firing, they just are spawned. If you tilt up a bit, they are spawned in, but no motor ignites, so it stays inside the hole. If you tilt down a bit, they spawn in, but because of gravity, they start to drop. Motor still doesn't ignite. You can fire off all of them that way and just tilt down to have rain of UG_90 falling on an enemy's head.

because it's in air to air mode. It probably shouldn't be calculating CCIP for air to air, that's what should be fixed, but that's what it seems to be doing.

It's the distance to where it would hit if it were in CCIP mode - essentially, how far bullets would travel before hitting something, of course it won't calculate that beyond 0.8.

And there's even an option to add a custom betty voice, so no need for a mod, just dump the files in the appropriate place and select the custom in the UI.

I suppose it wouldn't work well in the mountains, and most jets would be able to get away, but I suppose in a pinch its better than nothing. -

if I'd have to guess, I'd say there's not enough data connections, those pylons normally have just one connection. You can carry two sd-10 or ld-10 on outer stations, so it makes sense you have two on each outer pylon.

I don't know, I think it's easy enough to turn on/off the laser as needed. Just push the button on the ufcp. If you're dropping it from within about 5nm, use the laser and leave it, it should reach the target before the laser times out - if you're dropping from max distance, then let it go and hope it hits. It would be nice if you drop from max range and the computer knows when to turn on the laser, but you can just turn it off after it launches, wait about 30 seconds, then turn it on yourself.

it's not correct - I've had it hit within 5 meters of my target without lasing, just with such a small munition, you want to get within 1 or 2, which is what lasing helps with.

2.8 patch - do LS-6/GB-6 still get shot down by SAMs?

I tested against a sa-8 and it looks like they don't see it. Also tried a GB-6-100 and didn't see it either. -
Yea, give us 1% more thrust, fix the smoke, call it a fleet wide DEEC update, the one that went live sometime late 2012...

That's how it is in the real aircraft, weight on wheels = caged. You must be off the ground to uncage. It would be nice to be able to check my tires on those first person servers, but oh well, its fine.

Yea, it shouldn't be using any notch for looking up. Engine issue with DCS, probably.

Nah, it should be 0.045, according to Deka, but they increased it (after ED complained) to make them intercept-able by the ancient sams in DCS.
