  1. How about making it optional on/off AND make the size adjustable. It is handy in VR but it is WAAY too BIG.
  2. For me if it's a choice of acceptable FPS or rotating antenna... buh bye antenna.
  3. See this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4351379#post4351379
  4. Wanted to test the pitching/rolling motion of the Super Carrier with various wind conditions (kts). Here are my results: Pitch and listing measured from LSO station. Carrier is at 20 kts steering north. The wind is from the north. 5. Cheers. Will have a go at it.
  6. Had great fun launching, AAR practice, then recovering on the carrier. In VR!
  7. Can you record a track of yourself landing on the carrier and then watch it from LSO station?
  8. Just got an email from ED. "Your bonus points will expiry in 10 days! You can buy something in our E-Shop to save your bonus points. Bonus expiry time will be extended." Clear as mud.
  9. So now not a bad show?
  10. People ask me if VR is immersive... I show them this. Btw. I say skip the monitor and go VR. ;)
  11. Do you mean the bubble?
  12. Just got it for $22.49 used the code "Mover" for an extra 10% discount. See Movers wicked awesome channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/cwlemoine
  13. Made a mod. Initially the arm, which is attached to the spring, would make direct contact with the button on both the up and down selection/motion. I found that it was difficult to get the exact right amount of pressure from the arm on the button... it was either to little or too much. So I stripped a curved metal pocket clip off of a pen. This has just the right amount of spring action. Not to flimsy and not too stiff. I secured the curved metal pocket clip to the plexiglass arm. Now the springy clip is what makes contact with the button. Much easier to adjust. See the revised pic below spring clip is circled.
  14. How free do you want too be? :megalol:
  15. If you have the pc with enough power to do VR... there is no comparison. There is no going back. VR all the way. Of course there are those who prefer to look at a higher resolution picture of the simulated world through a window, aka monitor. I prefer to be IN the simulated world, SITTING IN THE COCKPIT. Best is if you can try VR for yourself.
  16. 1) Pull up divert page. 2) Fly over selected airfield. 3) Pull yellow handles. 4) Once on ground, find familiar road. 5) Walk to the O Club.
  17. At 12:28 you can see them actually make contact... :pilotfly: But, 12:05-07 does looks interesting.
  18. I've looked at spending during non sale times and have not seen where the points come into play during the purchase.
  19. I've repeatedly tried to make purchases using the bonus points. The points are not reflected on the price of the module... I cancel the order.
  20. I do not see how to apply my BONUS POINTS, which are about to expire, to an order... At EXACTLY what stage in the purchase do I see my bonus points being applied to the purchase price? :helpsmilie: Thank you.
  21. Thanks for the idea Sokol1. (post #12 in this thread) I modified your design to use 1/4" plexiglass, and other parts which I had on hand. I also modified it to use only one switch. This mimics a single push of the G key. I stripped the switch/board/usb cable out of an old usb steering wheel. In the pic you can see the (yellow) switch below the spring, (switch has a black dot). You move the control either up or down, the cam pushes on the arm, which is attached to the spring, and makes contact with the button on both the up and down selection/motion. You just have to get the handle in sync with the sim landing gear position using the G key. Works like a charm. Awesome in the VR.
  22. Just a glance over the shoulder (VR baby!), audio, and seat rumble from the buttkicker.
  23. I think you are correct.
