It may have side effects... My config is currently Heat-Of-Speed clear water version (no IC) of Kegetys Shader mod, so I do not know if it will work for vanilla DCS. And do not expect miracle from me. Shader de activation is only working when GPU is overloaded. There will be some cases linked to CPU usage when there is nothing that can be done, like this one, for example: Instead of going to Vulkan they should really try to fix the current bottlenecks in the game... By the way 3DMigoto is not Vulkan compliant.

  3. It looks like there is something that can be tried, because my 3080Ti is saturated and CPU is green. I'll have a look. But I do not promise anything !
  4. What can I say...You are not using the d3dx.ini file provided in the v12. So either you use the things I provided as they are and I can help, or you do what you want and mixed things up, but in this case do not complain and ask for support.

Can you edit d3dx.ini and modify the line "hunting=0" by "hunting=2" launch the game, choose instant action / Su25T / Free flight Once in cockpit, pause the game then press NUMPAD 0 => green lines will appear at top and bottom of 2D screen Press F8 : the game will freeze a while, then a green line will shortly appears at left bottom A folder FrameAnalysis-2022-01-*-* should have been created Go in it, you should have only log.txt and ShaderUsage.txt => post them here.
  6. That's strange because I validated my mod with the A10CII, and all was working. Did you compare your graphics settings with the picture provided in troubleshooting guide ? Can you post also your options.lua here ?
  7. The track is to allowing me to easilly reproduce the problem in the same context than you. These HUD and MFD change are relying on plane used, but sometime DCS is doing strange things: I discovered that the UH1 is not using same shader if it's raining or not, or the AV8B is not using the same shader for glass for some missions.
  8. The installation instructions were unclear for the shader mod. I updated the first post with the following lines: Install Speed-Of-Heat "Clear Water" version of Kegetys shader mod from here . Do not use the "IC Pass" version. So, as you install the IC version, what you should do is: Do a full repair of DCS (see troubleshooting guide) Install "Clear Water" version (not the "IC Pass") It should work. @edmuss has the same issue than you because he installed the IC shader mod... Did you do a full repair as written in the troubleshooting guide ?
  9. Is your DCS installed in program files ? Dis you apply the patch for clear water shader mod ? And, as I wrote, I did not test the IC version of this mod with my mod. It is likelly it won't work. It is also likelly that the patch for clear water shader mod may brake the IC.
  10. Can you put here your options.lua file and a track or a scenario to reproduce your test config ?
  11. Did you use troubleshooting guide ? Are you using other mods ? At first, did you try to set mul factor to zero for cockpit ? (Shift +F1 to allow color change, then setup color mul zero). "nothing is working" is a bit unclear....
  12. Did you activate options using menu ? What is not working ? Color change, sharpen, icon masking, shadow softening, performance improvement, haze, reflection, copy/paste of radio messages,... ? All options are off by default, you have to set them using menu. Are your graphic settings as what is displayed in troubleshooting guide in first post ?
  13. in the meantime you can use mods or mine, which is IC and less intrusive than the first one.

  15. See the video in first post at 0:28. Did you use the v12 without changing anything in it or mixing older files (like d3dx.ini) ? Mixing files from different version is the best way to break mod features.

There is no miracle option but you can have sharpen only on cockpit only (sharpen create shimmering especially on landscape) and there is a "soften" option for flat shadow that may reduce shimmering created by high contrast shadow. I'm still working to improve it a bit. FXAA can be applyed on landscape, but it does not really reduce shimmering...
  17. it looks like you put a lot of sharpen. And the sharpen seems also applyed on external. Maybe it's a side effect of settings ?

  19. No, at the opposite it's great to have a tester which report bugs, it make the mod robust.
  20. That's a bit funny...The context is 3dmigoto is giving an error when decompiling shader in HSLS. I though I fixed it, but sometime HLSL dumps are not reliable (or this may be also my poor competency as directX developper). I'll have a look again.
  21. I found the issue. Can you unzip the joined file in bin\ShaderFixes and delete 0e9e8d7e61ece209-ps_replace.bin ? 0e9e8d7e61ece209-ps_replace.zip Can you post a track ?
  22. I'll check with your track. For fps, there could be a solution only if the performance issue is created by GPU and not by GPU. Is it the case ?
  23. Hello, For my part I just spectate Dogde 1 doing a lot of pass from each cardinal point, without firing any ammunition (seems to me). But at the end, mortar explosed and mission continues... I wonder if you put some triggers or if Dogde1 did the job ? Anyway, it was fun to hover on the airfield and see this A10C running in and out (even if it could be better to see him BRRRRRRRRR all the bad guys !)
