What is wrong with the TID and canopy reflection?
lefuneste01 replied to ebabil's topic in Bugs and Problems
Have a look here : Not sure the 3dmigoto mod alone will work for the F14 (it will if same shaders than other planes are used), but it should if coupled with kegetys mod. -
It depends of the scenario, settings and config. I did some measurement with the full mod (before encrypted shaders) here : https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/207154-3dmigoto-vr-mod-for-dcs-label-masking-color-enhancement-sharpen-fxaa-copypaste-of-radio-msg/?do=findComment&comment=4726115 and with the last version here https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/207154-3dmigoto-vr-mod-for-dcs-label-masking-color-enhancement-sharpen-fxaa-copypaste-of-radio-msg/?do=findComment&comment=4810959 so globally 6 fps on 41 in the past, should be more about 4 fps on 41 now.

Hello. Just to add this test may not represent what you will see in real DCS gameplay. When I have 80 fps when playing the track, I have 45 fps in a real mission., with CPU and GPU at very low usage. So I'm not sure changing your GPU will change your life... See here : https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/207154-3dmigoto-vr-mod-for-dcs-label-masking-color-enhancement-sharpen-fxaa-copypaste-of-radio-msg/?do=findComment&comment=4810959

You may try my mod, there is a feature to setup NVG size and convergence in VR.

As explained here the Instant action/ A10CII /takeoff is a good benchmark to find way of optimization. When I have more than 80 fps with good GPU usage I am tanked at 44 fps with low CPU&GPU usage. There is clearly something making the whole engine waiting... This A10CII takeoff mission: A track for which I have more than 80 fps:

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
You can if you install on it the OB patch I provided. -
In addition I did some testing with a track provided by @dureiken and this settings : Here are some elements I had with fpsVR (session started and stopped before and after track replay). My CPU is overclocked at 4.8 Gz. Stable without mods and 150% SS fpsVR Report: App: DCS HMD: HP Reverb VR Headset VR1000-2xxx0 (90.020 Hz, IPD 61.0) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (30.0.14.7141, Tavg 76.6, Tmax 78) CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz (Tavg 75.2, Tmax 88) Delivered fps: 66.91 Duration: 1.6min. SteamVR SS: 100% Render resolution per eye: 2208x2164(by SteamVR settings, Max.) (HMD driver recommended: 2209x2165) And my favorite BenchMark, because it seems that there is few things displayed but fps are tanked : Quick Mission / A10CII / takeoff : OB with Kegetys + 3migoto mod (Sharpen on cockpit) and no SS fpsVR Report: App: DCS HMD: HP Reverb VR Headset VR1000-2xxx0 (90.020 Hz, IPD 61.0) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (30.0.14.7141, Tavg 73.7, Tmax 74) CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz (Tavg 70.8, Tmax 82) Delivered fps: 44.92 Duration: 0.3min. SteamVR SS: 100% Render resolution per eye: 2208x2164(by SteamVR settings, Max.) (HMD driver recommended: 2209x2165) And you can see that either CPU or GPU are far from being saturated... with this use case at 44 fps , nothing used more than 60%, CPU and GPU are waiting something... With the test at 80 fps GPU usage is correct.

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
This order doesnt matter, because 3Dmigoto and Kegetys doen't share files. You can also use 3dmigoto without Kegetys or Kegetys without 3dmigoto. The version of speed-of heat should also work, but I did not test it (too many versions..). What you should take care is to applythe OB patch for the Kegetys mod (as described in my mod thread) and at last the update Kegetys VR Shaders mod for 3Dmigoto v1.1 if you are using 3Dmigoto with Kegetys shader mod, whatever you use original Kegetys or Speed-of-heat version. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Hello, I updated my mod thread here, the package 11.3.zip includes the patch for Kegetys mod. It tested the whole install (Kegetys+patch+3dmigoto mod) on a repaired DCS, it worked for night without issue. You should have a try on my mod if you are using reshade, it may do the same job plus it have a bunch of cool features. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience

Did you try my mod instead of reshade ? It has less filter but in game menu to setup color and sharpen, plus different sharpen settings for cockpit, outside, hud and MFD. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
What you have is what I saw when had the wrong décoder file. Did you try with the settings described in my howto here : -
That's a problem in VR. Totally unrealistic and annoying. Reflections should be in 3d or not. Just have a look in your car windshield and try to imagine having a half transparent sticker put on it that display a flat picture of your car dashboard... In real life, you can cope with reflexion because they have depth so you can filtre them with eye focus.

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I had the same issue. The file Decoder.hlsl must be removed from the patch I provided. Do a full DCS repair Install Kegetys Mod Remove the file decoder.hlsl from my patch Install the patch Install my 3dmigoto mod because it's a damn good mod but nobody seems want to try its wonderfull features (I need to provide an updated version for this update of Kegetys mod) It should be good. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I just fixed the compilation errors due to some shaders being encrypted and so needing coherent parameters when called, because I need to update my mod too. As the shader mod is now mixing modified and no modified shaders, it may introduce glitches, but I'm not competent to fix them. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
lefuneste01 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Here is a patch for Kegetys mod that will make it compile again without removing any file. To be noticed: As the last OB include some shaders that are now encrypted, some of optimization may be half done and there is a risk to have glitch (I did not test a lot). The fps win are lower : fps measured by Fraps in A10CII / quick mission takeoff (see troubleshooting here https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/207154-3dmigoto-vr-mod-for-dcs-label-masking-color-enhancement-sharpen-fxaa-copypaste-of-radio-msg for my settings) 2021-10-24 14:45:21 - DCS Frames: 1529 - Time: 30000ms - Avg: 50.967 - Min: 46 - Max: 53 2021-10-24 14:52:42 - DCS Frames: 1350 - Time: 30000ms - Avg: 45.000 - Min: 44 - Max: 46 DCS VR Shaders mod patch for 2.7.7.14727.zip -
What is GI option ?

There are other mods providing same features. I use my mod to size NVG.
