  1. in the meantime you can use mods or mine, which is IC and less intrusive than the first one.
  2. Do you have a track (not too long, maybe you can use unlimited ammo ?)
  3. See the video in first post at 0:28. Did you use the v12 without changing anything in it or mixing older files (like d3dx.ini) ? Mixing files from different version is the best way to break mod features.

There is no miracle option but you can have sharpen only on cockpit only (sharpen create shimmering especially on landscape) and there is a "soften" option for flat shadow that may reduce shimmering created by high contrast shadow. I'm still working to improve it a bit. FXAA can be applyed on landscape, but it does not really reduce shimmering...
  5. it looks like you put a lot of sharpen. And the sharpen seems also applyed on external. Maybe it's a side effect of settings ?

  7. No, at the opposite it's great to have a tester which report bugs, it make the mod robust.
  8. That's a bit funny...The context is 3dmigoto is giving an error when decompiling shader in HSLS. I though I fixed it, but sometime HLSL dumps are not reliable (or this may be also my poor competency as directX developper). I'll have a look again.
  9. I found the issue. Can you unzip the joined file in bin\ShaderFixes and delete 0e9e8d7e61ece209-ps_replace.bin ? 0e9e8d7e61ece209-ps_replace.zip Can you post a track ?
  10. I'll check with your track. For fps, there could be a solution only if the performance issue is created by GPU and not by GPU. Is it the case ?
  11. Hello, For my part I just spectate Dogde 1 doing a lot of pass from each cardinal point, without firing any ammunition (seems to me). But at the end, mortar explosed and mission continues... I wonder if you put some triggers or if Dogde1 did the job ? Anyway, it was fun to hover on the airfield and see this A10C running in and out (even if it could be better to see him BRRRRRRRRR all the bad guys !)

  13. I think the issue is the location of the DCS install. windows put some restriction to modify files in "program files*" folders.
  14. Can you post a track? I do not have any issue with GUI, but it may be context dependant...
  15. I did a new check and the mod is OK. I made a mistake in the comparison I did yesterday... I do not understand you issue, color changing is working for me without issue: for example I added saturation for cockit and lower saturation for external. Here is my d3dx_user.zip. Try to put it in the same folder than DCS.exe. Check the access right for everyone once done. Where is your DCS installed ? Is it in "program files" ? d3dx_user.zip
  16. The d3dx.ini file you are providing is an old version and will not allow to fix the CBU and minigun fps issue... But I see the problem. I left an old optimization so the color or sharpen fix are only working if flat shadow if is toggled on. I did not see it because I have this option on. I'll fix it.
  17. As the stable just went to 2.7.9 also, I removed the 11.x reference and packages. Only the 12.0 is relevant for stable and beta.
  18. I had to do tricky things because of limitation of 3dmigoto library. I need for example to identify sky to know if player is in cockpit or not, this sky shader is modified by Kegetys shader mods, and this version is created regarding user settings in the Kegetys mod config file...As soon as you are using a mod that is modifying game shader shader there is a risk... Have a look in the folder where DCS.exe is. You should have a file named d3dx_user.ini which contain menu settings. If not try to create it and give full access right to everyone @VFGiPJP :this is the file.
  19. The update patch is for speed of heat non IC release, not for the other DCS shader mod...You may also look if other mod are not modifying shaders.
  20. Color changes are enabled by shift+F1. There are 3 different modes for sharpening, toggled by Alt+ F8. Color and sharpening are independant. Maybe explanations in first post are not clear enough ? What should I add ? They do not have exactly the same shaders...So they may brake compatibility with the mod. I won't do a patch or adapt my mod for all of them. I even do not have time to test every of them ! Maybe they should provide a version of their kegetys mod evolution compatible with my mod...
  21. Did you have the graphic settings given in first post ? Are you using other shader mods ? Did you do the troubleshooting guide ? I already distribute a version that is working for both vanilla and speed of heat version of kegetys mod clear water non IC., knowing that the original Kegetys is now not compatible with the latest DCS version. In fact I currently have to handle 6 configuration of the mod, because each MSAA factor is creating a different version of shaders. Every settings in kegetys mod change shaders, that's why it need to be pached in a fixed configuration compatible with my mod. I can not do it from my mod. There is currently 1 thread with support of Kegetys mod, driven by Speed of Heat, but a lot of different version of Kegetys. So I used his version to provide compatibily wiht my mod. It was already too complex to start from original Kegetys mod, as I did for the 11.2, people get loose because they have two patch to apply on Kegetys mod. So the first question is : which kegetys mod to use ?
  22. Sometime you have to do it yourself to make things moving, just by giving the proof it is possible and paint devs back into corner...
