I had a funny situation yesterday, when a SAM site shot all his missiles on me while I was hovering behind a single tree and he never hit me (I popped out and destroyed the loser with rockets). But the very fact that he could see me and lock onto me with his radar while I was behind the tree is strange.

You're welcome. Just wanted to add, I have encountered myself some lags and even crashes after updates, so now I'm diong a slow repair after every update and it helps me everytime.

So, has the problem been solved?

I think you should, because the installation can fail to install a file or two (for many reasons) that may be very important for the stable operation of DCS.

Can you submit a log file so the moderators can take a look? Do you have any mods installed? If yes try to delete them and see if it keeps crashing. And try repairing DCS (Slow repair).

It doesn't matter which acquisition sourse you select as a pilot. At least I didn't notice any difference.

Hi, I would like to suggest to create a key inserting animation for the main power switch in the Apache. Like in the real aircraft, you have to insert the key, and then turn the switch. It would be great to see this animation in the sim and it would add a lot of realism to the module. My suggestion for it: Right click on the main power switch to insert the key, another right click to turn it clockwise (like it is now) and left click to turn it backwards and take the key out. I think, it switches automatically to barometric altitude when the radio altimeter cannot reach the ground anymore.

Did you try it? iiRC the brightness of the monocle is controlled with one of these buttons on the TDAC, otherwise, where else? I don't see any other brightness knobs or buttons in the CPG seat.

I've encountered the same problem today and once before, I noticed that it happens if the outside temperature is 30 deg or above, solved it by letting the NG% of the right engine fall to 0, increasing the left engine RPM to full (fly) and then going throgh the startup procedure of the right engine again. It started, but it's NG% was about 3% lower then the left engine.

With the SYM Brightness knob in your cockpit (as pilot). Or with one of the knobs or buttons on the TDAC (as CPG).

You have to set the range to auto every time you switch between weapons, it doesn't buffer the auto range, only the manual.

You can play with your sound settings in DCS and see if it helps, but to be honest I don't think you should hear any explotions in the cockpit for the reasons @Razor18 mentioned.

@gottel Nur ein kurzes Update zu deiner Frage: Ich habe herausgefunden, dass man einen CAQ Punkt als Wegpunkt hinzufügen kann, wenn man auf der TSD Seite zu RTE geht, DIR drückt und den PLT Punkt mit dem Cursor auswählt.

Ich habe das selbst noch nicht mit einem CAQ Punkt ausprobiert, aber ich denke, es sollte wie das Hinzufügen eines normalen Wegpunktes zu einer Route sein.

Looks like a bug, in the previous version it didn't happen. The radios on the Viggen are a little bit broken after the last open beta.

Cyclic is used the most, but it is better to give enough collective to recover after that.
