depends of the budget. But I had once 2x ati4970 and I regreted it. Microstuters/driver problems/1 card that was better than the other.... If you're lucky you won't have any problem, but if not then it's a real pain :( Personnally I would save to buy a bigger card (dont take a card like the 6990, wich is 2 card in Xfire on physically 1 PCB)

I know that my friend has 32bit win7 because when he bought his premade PC years ago it came with it. He don't know squat about 32/64 bit, and I'm pretty sure that 20 of the 22% of the remainging 32bit are the same kind of people

They are necessary for max realism/fun, but you can fly it without I'm able to take off/fly/land the huey with my laptop's keyboard. It's not pretty but very doable. :thumbup:
