With now 9 modules out, and over 20 from ED and different 3rd parties that are comming, if you look at this from a ca$h perspective it's starting to make a lot. When it was the beginning of DCS World I know that some(me included) bought every module to support ED, even if we were not flying them all. But in 3-4 years, it will be over 1000$ of add-ons and I don't know if people will buy them all(I know I wont). So I was wondering if ED tought of making some kind of trial mode for the comming planes. Seeing vids are great and all, but it's nothing like having the feel of the plane though your HOTAS and testing it the way you want. Some games are doing it(like Euro Truck Simulator): Something like having the full plane for 1 hour, than you have the choice to buy it or uninstall it.

how are your eyes after hours of use? have you some difficulties to focus after long use?

I don't want to hijack the topic but my 7 YO X52 just broke and I'm looking for a new one. It'll be between the X55 and the TM Warthog but both seems to have pros and cons. IIRC both had some physical problem in their early days, and was wondering how are they now?

there is only ILS cat3 that permit 0-0 land(Heathrow have it). with cat3 you go-around once on ground if you can't see the runway(it's silly but it happened). Usually we have ILS cat 2(there's A-B-C) with typical 1/2 SM(or 2600' RVR) vis and 200' ceiling. If you can't see **** than go around Of course planes must be equiped for the correct ILS CAT, and CAT3 required autoland

What I think doesnt help and make people impatient is that a lot of them (still) don't understand how aircraft developpment works. I still see comments like : ''Why did he posted new texture screenshot? That time could've been used to code AFM'' .... A lot don't understand that there can be parallel development and/or multiple teams... Anyway, I know that modern stuff are still beeing worked on, so for me, not enough old bird!
