Track attached: HARM-TOO-Classes.trk (game version 2.5.6.54046 ) Issues: SA-2 not included H1 HQ-7 not in either H1 or H2 EDIT: not in track, but if you shoot the HQ-7 Search radar, and the launchers must use their radars individually, they show up as "7", and it's not in any Class either.

Just ran to this... I'll record a track and upload it with "all" (or at least most..) of the SAM systems. SA-2 is still missing from the H1 -class.

Could we have the editor option to disable scoreboard?
Juuba replied to Minni's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Yeah, me like! -
Get ground crew to connect ground power, and boot that up before you shutdown the engines and request repairs. It'll keep your data most likely. I guess the in-game stored heading option is a "magic" workaround. As such, we have no way of storing the heading for next start-up. Not sure how it should be done, is it automatically saved when shutting down or how...

I tried this today, on HIGH altitude even with SEEK LARGE the Harpoon would overfly the ships every time on my end. LOW altitude worked. Still, it would target tankers always, even with the Grisha on point. I had a ship group of 1 Grisha + 3 tankes, first from side: Harpoon always targeted the last tanker. Same results with ~45 degree angle. When attacked from headon, with the Grisha on point, the harpoon wouldn't target the grisha, but the second ship in line - a tanker. Always.

I mean, we're asking for _the option_ to tune the wave size independently. It is not by means wanted as a forced feature for everyone to set. Why... what... err.. It doesn't take anything away from you.

Why are you so much against this?

https://res.mdpi.com/d_attachment/sustainability/sustainability-09-01875/article_deploy/sustainability-09-01875-v2.pdf Black Sea receives nice swells, depending on location and wind/storm directions. Reading/skipping some links on mobile here, maximum was something like 5-8 meter Significant Wave heights during 38 years measurement period. 3 meter was “average maximum” IIRC from that document. PG is more closed a sea, still gets some 2 meter “Hs” - calmer than the Black Sea. https://www.ann-geophys.net/23/2031/2005/angeo-23-2031-2005.pdf Here’s one that has some formulas for predicting wave sizes. Might be helpful? https://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/full/10.1175/JTECH-D-15-0066.1

Wave size slider sounds like a good idea.

I encountered this on 2.5.6 openbeta. Played my own mission alone in my own host: It's a training mission with some targets and multiple planes setup all around as "clients", with varying payload and waypoints for different targets/trainings. I can then spawn anywhere and do whatever. So I bombed some targets on the X-runway in Caucasus in my F-5E It worked smoothly, so I viewed the track and in it I was shot down. Then I re-viewed the same mission on tacview, and it displayed me getting thru. Here's a quick video about it: Short: In my point of view, I flew thru and bombed fine and flew out unscathed. - in the track-file replay, I was shot down - bombs still dropped and hit. I did fly 2 circles before bombing, lining up and setting up the switches before the bomb run. I've seen that doing circles (on ground even) messes up the tracks. Once I took a missturn at an airfield. Proceeded with a 180 the otherway (on ground with the Hornet). Taxii'd to the runway and took off as usual. In the track my takeoff was totally off, wrong heading even. "My" plane sped off thru the landscape and hit a fence or something.

Have the game installed somewhere else than "Program Files". Those Program Files -folders are protected system folders that require admin privileges for the software to be able to write there.

Sooo, whatcha did?

options.graphics.statsColor = {250,250,250} Does that change the color of the CTRL-PAUSE debug texts/stuff? Can you move the text-area around with some similar config parameter? (I'd like to move it down a bit, FPS info obscures some F10 Map information...)

Had a crash as well, flying Multiplayer. Re-tested on Single player, it didn't crash on me, tried BOL, RB/L etc different modes. No crashes. The Crashlog didn't have anything that catches my eye, but I'll add it here: dcs-MPHarpoonCrash.zip Track is long-ish... Something new and "odd/weird" side-by-side cockpit? SU-24? TU-28/H-5 Beagle?

Okay, the issue here is that when pushing DMS UP, the HUD becomes SOI and the TMS ACM commands dont work anymore. Not sure if a feature or a bug. EDIT/ADD: Discussed with some people, and they feel that ACM modes should work in DOGFIGHT OVERRIDE in any SOI. Hence the "Override".. But, ofc we're no real jockeys.

Happened to me yesterday once as well. I remember I pressed ICP Enter while the ILS DED frequency entry was active, and I didn't change the frequency. I was able to change the frequency, but this was "a second" Enter after a moment with the ILS page open.

When in DGFT mode, if you toggle HMD with DMS UP, the ACM (that are accessed with TMS) modes dont' work no more. Because the FCR is not SOI anymore. Track attached. Steps to reproduce: 1: Get in the air 2: Turn on JHMCS 3: enter DGFT mode 4: check the various ACM modes 5: Toggle HMD with DMS UP 6: Check ACM Modes FAIL: ACM modes will not change anymore. Solution: Reselect FCR as SOI to allow ACM mode changes. Should the ACM modes be selectable in any SOI? DGFT-ACM-modes-stop-after-HMD-toggle.trk

2 steps: Uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types" setting in Windows (Explorer.exe, view, options ...) When Saving the file, in the "Save as type" field, set and leave it as "All files *.*" or something

[NO BUG]Cannot steer MAVF seeker with TDC after dropping JSOWA

Okay, got around to checking it. And Yes, undesignate works - it re-enables the slew function for the mavericks. -
[NO BUG]Cannot steer MAVF seeker with TDC after dropping JSOWA
Juuba replied to Juuba's topic in Bugs and Problems
I didn't try undesignate, but I did click the uncage/cage many times. Maybe the Undesignate is the key. I didn't realize it should be undesignated, since I never designated the target for the Mavericks :) I'll try this after lunch. I got the MAVF:s off by pointing the missile to the target by steering my plane and lock em up like that.
