  1. Hi Fred, My Frametime graphs are from my system now before my VR1 arrives and so I do not have any VR specific software loaded yet. I thought as frametime is important to get 90hz I would test out a fresh windows and dcs install first. I have been unable to get rid of these Frametime spikes, trying everything before my VR1 arrives to ensure it has the best platform to perform on.
  2. Thanks for taking the time to look at this issue. I just import the csv file into Google sheets then add a filter across the whole of the top line then create a chart that can be easily filtered and displayed. I can see from your signature were are using the same drivers my windows build Edition Windows 11 Home Version 24H2 Installed on ‎15/‎12/‎2024 OS build 26100.2605 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.36.0 Please could you share your settings for DCS and any other thing you have changed from default.
  3. Here is a identical looking graph from a few seconds ago. Exactly the same pattern. I am sure you are aware to VR at 90hz we need Frametime to be constant around 11.1 ms these spike to above 22ms are going to be noticed as microstutters when I get into VR. Its interesting that people on both Intel and AMD CPU's are seeing stutters. I have read most Stutter post even down to reducing mouse freq.
  4. The Graph is produced from the data taken from running Presentmon trace for 30 seconds, the plane was the new remastered F5 sat a Batumi. Nothing special. I have tried all sorts of changes to DCS and Windows nothing seems to get rid of these micro stutters. If you are not familiar with Presentmon check out GamersNexus null Be very happy if you could talk a quick look.
  5. Hi, I have just completed a fresh windows and dcs install in preparation for new VR1 Headset arrival. During some 2D testing, simple one airplane sat on runway cold, I am seeing a repeated spike in Frametime and CPU Busy. This pattern is seen no matter what changes I make to DCS or PC.null
  6. When originally using mbucchia code there was a note In the DCS World settings, you must disable 'VR' -> 'Bloom effect' and 'System' -> 'Lens Effects' as they produced poor visuals when using foveated rendering. Do we know if DCS has addressed these concerns, hopefully a Somnium VR1 will arrive soon and I can test, but be good the hear what VR. Added options for Quad View to VR settings.
  7. Hi @naoki3371w please could you post the in cockpit VR 1 vid so people on this channel can see how good its looks.
  8. The unit VFRSG is reviewing is the fully loaded MR version, those MR cameras are really HighQ, therefore do add some weight to the HMD, I have ordered the TITAN ET/HT version so hopefully weight will not be a major issue, but good to see other Headset straps being tested.
  9. Thanks for sharing, hope the event goes well for you. Good to have you in this chat hopefully you can share DCS settings and any insight into Eye Tracking and Hand Tracking.
  10. Looks like it may have been provided for Tokyo Game Show that starts in a few weeks.
  11. Maybe @RazbamJapan
  12. Thankyou for sharing your photos and info, I happy to start with the Titan version Hand / Eye Tracking maybe goto MR when VR2 is released.
  13. Question for Tzigy ref Somnium event F18 demo. I was wondering if the MFD displays they had in the cockpit build were active in their right or being feed with the actual DCS Data that allowed the Hardware Buttons and DCS MFD image to be viewed in MR together.
  14. Titan version purchased.
  15. No weight details have been released yet, but its important to take into account the full MR version will be the heaviest due to the quality of the cameras, the non MR versions will therefore be less weight, I'm sure in a couple of weeks all details will be public.
  16. No sorry if I confused anyone, ordering hopefully in a couple of weeks we will be able to place our orders with limited numbers of first units shipping first half of june.
  17. I do not think it would be possible to upgrade, but you should be able to configure the exact requirements you need. You may be able to add an Ultra Leap Module yourself like Varjo have done with the XR4. The VR1 hand tracking Ultra Leap solution is built into headset. Talked today about possibility of changing the faceplate, even this was not recommended. Suggest you join us on the Somnium Discord
  18. I do agree with you Quest 3 does provide excellent value, it is all about the marginal gains and the price you are prepared to pay. The original price of the aero is comparable and when you add in Eye Tracking and the High calibre Pass Through cameras I can understand how the unit price is going to move beyond some people's exceptionable limits. Add in the cost of Base Stations as well. Somnium VR1 is not for everyone, we have understood this from the very beginning. I personally held off from purchasing the aero or crystal as I have been tracking this headset from its first appearance. For me the move will be from the HP G2 to the Somnium VR1.
  19. Reservation numbers were only passed out to the first 100 who submitted requests on 5th October 2023.
  20. I think you have provided a good rundown of the talking points. I have just taken delivery of two new Base Stations. Hopefully I will get an opportunity to purchase with my low 38 reservation place.
  21. Couple of VR1 updates this evening Orders update: Prices to be revealed and orders open in next 2 / 3 weeks Deliveries First half June for those who were early in the orders
  22. We will be provided with the final information tomorrow via Discord from CEO.
  23. A fully loaded VR1 is going to be expensive, we all know that, but its been designed to push to the maximum todays available tech. Some excellent vids online from CEO explaining how they arrived at the design. Their Discord channel is very active at the moment. Place on Reservation queue was placed back in Oct.
