The original and updated Bronco (OV-10G+) has proven very successful in Iraq and the Philippines over the last year, and I guess has spurred the movement to create an all-new COIN aircraft. I don't see why a MD-500 isn't a good substitute...it can be used for light cargo/scouting, maybe even throw a door gunner in the back to give it some teeth. There's an application for it, and it would satisfy some peoples' need for the MH-6. This simple solution seems to never be discussed. I mean if the Christian Eagle is a go...anything should be on the table (barring the classified stuff).

i know what you're saying...i'm having this problem too. I can't exactly explain why or when this happens though. It's definitely a 'mistake' on my end in working the switches, but sometimes I this can be useful actually. There is a difference between "TDC Action/No Action" and "TDC Action" commands and using one versus the other (unsure which) causes the DMT to immediately slew to flight vector.

I've completely lost my HUD in 2.2...tried the hotfix. Nothing. Odaat: I tried what you said, and now I've lost the pitch ladder in standard DCS world. UPDATE: I just copied and pasted my cockpit folder from 1.5.8 (everything working fine there) into 2.2 now I have my HUD back, but the RWR symbology is now there stuck at the 12 o'clock position in thick lines and blank. At least I have something now...

Maybe that Kiowa crew did do that...maybe not? I'm pretty certain there's a VERY similar story of an OH-6 scout crew doing this to a VC during the Vietnam war. NVG gain is what is think OP is talking about, which I found doesn’t work with the AV-8 module right now. All modules use the standard key combo to adjust this IIRC. Nothing happens when I’ve tried. Makes NVG & FLIR in the HUD not usable.
